for the people that arent for it, if they ever do upgrade it you can still use your older version if you dont agree with the upgrade, and for the people who want it upgraded, you should respect the opinions of the others.

All the recent infighting is due to a D&D version war spilling into our happy forum.
For some reason, folks say we are no longer free to come up with our own uprades but have to obey some unyeilding cut&paste job of some other game.... that we cant take what we like & drop the rest

(and it seems like they have spies to know when I waste money on a horse)
you get the last laugh when the dragon eats your Peyote Foddered horse

if doom 3 taught me anything, its that the flashlight needs no bayonet, its a weapon of mass destruction by itself!

Not really much work to be done. You could do it with just the d20 Modern core book, Menace Manual, Weapons Locker, d20 Future, and a dozen sheets of notebook paper.
Most of the weapons are already taken care of, you just gotta stat up the monsters. To keep the flavour of the game, most of the monsters shouldn't be given too many HD with the exception of the big nasties like the Hell Knights, Cyberdemons, etc... From there, it's basically a dungeon crawl through science labs and space stations and hell. :p
