Either way, I'd probably give it 2d8 same as a .44 Mag. Unless I miss my guess, the Wildey wasn't quite powerful enough to rate 2d10.

7.62x39 (AK-47 ammo) = 1550 ft/lbs of energy
223 aka 5.56 NATO (M-16 ammo) = 1200 ft/lbs of energy
9x19mm (regular 9mm) = 400 ft/lbs of energy
357 magnum = 600 ft/lbs of enerfy
44 magnum = 900 ft/lbs of energy

475 widly is 1900 ft/lbs of energy

so I'd say match it to the guns firing 7.62x39

That's the problem, there should be a difference between 44 magnum and 50AE/7.62x39, but there isn't

So while it should outperform 44 magnum, it should match 50AE and 7.62x39, unfortunately all 3 are 2d8, so that is what it is.

Also note, the G3 fires 7.62x51 which is significantly more powerful than 7.62x39 I guess they try and denote the difference with 7.62mmR with R standing for Russian, but really, there is also a very famous russian round the 7.62x54 Rimmed, and the way the eastern nations differentiate them is with 7.62k (for kalashankov) and 7.62R for rimmed (or the syrillic equivalents)
