#1 janusunaj May 12, 2008 15:11:48	Willow, Bavmorda, Fin Raziel, Elora Danaan. Yeah. I LOVED that Ron Howard film. But how do I make a D&D campaign from it?
#2 grimgrin May 12, 2008 17:32:05	It shouldn't be too hard since all the elements of Willow are classic fantasy pieces already created for D&D. Daikini would be the standard Humans Newlyns are Halflings (or Dwarves if you want a tougher race). If you choose Dwarf you may want to replace "Stonecunning" with a consponding rural, urban, or river version (Forestcunning, Citycunning, or Boatcunning). Brownie are just like Forest Gnomes Storylines would be standard fantasy fare: enigmatic prophecies, viscious dragons, evil sorceresses, heroic warriors, clever wizards, wicked queens, battling armies. If you want specifics convert a classic hero tale (Iliad, Odyssey, Tasks of Hercules, Jason and the Argonauts, Tales of Camelot, Sinbad the Sailor, etc.) Spells of Willow are standard generic spell castings. You might incorporate new magic objects like stone acorns, telekinesis wands, and such. Willow initially was a stage magician (rogue or bard with Perform (Stage Magician) and sleight of hand). #3 natanax May 20, 2008 11:16:48	It's hard but you should read through the The Chronicles of the Shadow War by Chris Clairemont and George Lucas, they're rough reads and Lucas pulls a bit of Episode 1,2 and 3 crap in them but they REALLY expand on the setting and propose some truly cool ideas.
