Weird Wars is cool. But not free...

I made a d20 WW2 System a while ago, but it was kinda primitive/overly complicated at various points, so:

I made an update. It's not in a single pdf or anything, but if you want, I can send you the compiled word documents.
My system is completely compatible with d20 Modern, which some other systems are not.
The system is very combat heavy, as it is the main focus of the gameplay - my group prefers combat over intrigue, and are somewhat inexperienced ROLEplayers.
It uses a consolidated skill list (again, because my players messed around with all the regular skills, I thought I'd consolidate the list), and makes heavy use of CyberDave's Realism rules, recoil rules, etc... as well as a Wound/Vitality System I've come up with.
It also includes extensive weapon lists, and a pretty well rounded Vehicle list.

I'll second Weird War II. The system was set up for 3e, but I found that the basic rules could be easily adapted for d20 Modern. The rules on vehicles and the big guns worked well, and although the system for classes wasn't great, the game-specific skills, feats, and creatures made up for it.

The GURPS World War II books, as well as GURPS Weird War II written by Ken Hite were all very useful in the campaign I ran as well.

Add the relevant stuff from these books to the d20 Modern and Past rules, and there you go.

I forgot about the pulp game Forbidden Kingdoms, by OtherWorld Creations. IIRC, it was for d20 Modern. I haven't had a chance to run a game using it, but as I recall, the book looked like it was chock full of good stuff that would fit right into a WWII game without the need for conversion.

I'll have to dig it out of storage tomorrow and give it another read to see if I'm right about this.

There is a series of books for d20 Modern itself called Blood and Guts 2, put out by RPGObjects. Before they went with their homebrew Modern20 for True20 system, they put out a series of WWII-centric books in the Blood and Guts genre.

I don't know that I implied Weird War, as I've never heard of it. I was looking for World War II, or even World War I.

I would like a link to all the links for your guys/gals homebrew games. I am at commissargrimsson@hotmail.com

Weird War is a WW2 Horror supplement/game.

Blood & Guts are great, but the WW2 material they've made is somewhat ...uhm... unprofessional (some rifles & machineguns dealing 3d6, while others deal the normal 3d10 - for an almost identical cartridge, etc...).
I've used Blood & Guts for some years now, but I was very disappointed when I bought its WW2 stuff. That's why I made my own.

@EazyE: I'll send my stuff to you.

Overwhelmed with pride, I thought I'd upload it.

Feel free to use it, but please give credit where credit is due, respecting the fact that I've spent countless hours on it.

And I know that a lot of the stats for the vehicles aren't done yet, partially because vehicles play a very small role in our games.

Edit: Also posted it on the BG boards, so if you want a more detailed description before downloading it, click here for the table of contents.
