10 Commandments of Off Topic

Feb 11, 2009 21:51:39 1. There's no other topic before off-topic. From off-topic is hast came, and unto off-topic it shalt go.

2. Thou shall not have any political topics (satires are ok though).

3. Thou shalt not form a thread asking fort thine peers to teach how to create sblocks.

4. Thou shalt not troll nor jest in a mean manner. If thou hast, repent immediatly.

5. Remember the major threads and keep them alive.

6. Thou shalt not start and edition war. Off-Topic is consecrated ground upon which thou shalt keep thine petty fights away from.

7. Thou shalt not post a reborn thread after thine old one hast been locked or smited.

8. Thou shall not be serious. So no serious threads ethier.

9. Thou shall not covet thine peers threads. Do not try to copy an idea.

10. Thou shall try to read most of a thread as much as possible before entering.

Post anything I should change.

I hope #10 is making use of #8. If I see a thread with an first post I find interesting, but find that in the last two days its exploded, I'm not going to read an extra 40 posts in 5 different tangents.
