Apr 28, 2012 20:41:47 I am drawing up a game and need a few more bodies..erm...yeah, bodies.

The form is not 4e. And, rather, it is not based off of any discipline in general.

Information:
Your character is an everyday guy or gal with an everyday job. Military, law enforcement, assassins, etc. are not allowed. You are abducted on your way to your car from work or school (college, no children) and awaken in a cell. You are informed that you are now in a Button Man Competition, and must kill or be killed.

I have a character sheet made up for these characters. Skills are based on your written background. Therefore, everything you write about your character counts toward your character in some form or fashion.

In this sense, the button man competition is taking ordinary people and putting them in a situation where they must play the game, in that they must kill each other or they will be killed. Players in this campaign may choose to play the game as it is intended; to be the last man standing and "win" the game, or they may group together and try to beat the system. However, nothing is without its consequences. If they do ban together, then the "arena" will become tougher for them to survive collectively and all of their skills will be put to the test.

The campaign, by the way, is modern non-fantasy. Everyone is a human. Well, almost everyone is a human. We do have one player whose character is a dog, but...since there are limited supplies of consumables, the dog will look appetizing after about a week. So I do suggest against playing an animal if you can help it.

House rules, mostly d20's will be used with bonuses to rolls according to your character's individual skills based on background.

Like tabletop, except not in person.

Soooooo ... no, then. Got it. That's a shame. Carruthers Carrothers (or was it Carrothers Carruthers?) was one hell of an interesting character.
