One person is rich, the other not so rich. One of them is a "jerk" or has a problem they have to work out. They butt heads a couple of times. Some small little thing brings them together and they realize the other person might not be so bad. One person has a Big Secret and doesn't tell the other. The Big Secret is found out and exposed. One person is really mad at being Lied To. so the whole thing is called off. They're separated by some great distance or situation. Person realizes the Big Secret isn't such a big deal, and they're really in love. They meet again and apologize/make up/have it out. They renew the romance. They live happily ever after. Chick flicks are also big on someone getting cancer. If you see a doctor's office, expect that to be the diagnosis. The thing I don't get is why someone upon finding out the person they just fell in love with is really rich, they get so crushed about being lied to. "I thought you were a dog poop scooper! You LIED to me! I hate you!" If my wife told me tomorrow she's really a rich princess, I wouldn't be mad that she hid it from me. Heck, I wouldn't care she kept it secret for so long. I'd be ready to go shopping and catch up on the bills. |

| #6KlirshonJun 06, 2010 7:58:46 | I estimate Nyarlathotep is either bribed or blackmailed into watching the chick flicks. |
| #7NyarlathotepJun 06, 2010 10:47:55 | That'll teach her to make me watch chick flicks... Because I enjoy spending time with her. I am rather fond of her company, thus why I married her. We just have vastly different tastes in movies. ![]() |

And if all we really want to do is make out on the couch but there are guests around, we put in Jesus Christ, Vampire Slayer. That'll clear the house out right quick. |
| #9pigknightJun 06, 2010 12:20:03 | Better prank: Say you used to be a girl with fake birth certificate and everything. |

Yeah, but sometimes we just need to get out of the house and lets just say sometimes its my turn to pick the movie and sometimes its hers. |
