I'm pumped for the release of DSi (having preordered a white one - EB Games are throwing in a 2GB SD Card with every preorder!), and I'd like to know where I can find some AAC Audio files to load onto the SD Card (basically any Nintendo franchises' soundtracks are my top priority, with maybe some Sonic (that blue hedgehog-anybody remember him?) and, of course, music that would suit a D&D game well, since a good score would add to the atmosphere of Erik, Leshanna and Benn [that's my personal party of adventurers...guess which one's the LGG and you shall receive my congratulations] exploring a dank, dreary cave; especially when I could switch from dank, dreary cave tunes to an epic-sounding, fast-paced theme for a boss battle with a few taps of a stylus). So anybody (who can translate that maze of Lawful Good grammar) know where to look? Remember, I'd like AAC Audio files please, not the slightly-more-abundant MP3 files. Thank you and good day. BTW, I feel saddened that those in the US have to wait an extra three days to get their hands on a DSi (I live in Oceania, so I'm one of the lucky ones) |

There are similar utility programs that can do this for WAVs, WMAs, and even MIDIs, although the MIDI ones typically go MIDI-to-something-else. As for the actual music... I can't help you. Some YouTube videos have links to game soundtracks, though. As for epic music... Zelda works the best for D&D, although other good series that you might be missing out on are Golden Sun, Mega Man (sure, it's Capcom, but Mega Man has perhaps the highest percentage of amazing music in any series [for a sample, try "Esperanto" from Zero 4]), and Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross. EDIT: Oops, I forgot Final Fantasy, and possibly Super Smash Bros. Also, my guess for which one's your Lawful Good gnoll... Erik. |
