AD&D castle from the early 80's?

I got for Christmas, around 1983-84 I think, a D&D castle.  It was printed on a thick card stock in black and white and you put the pieces together to build the castle (I remember it being around 12-18" tall).  I think it came with markers too so you could color it.  It came with a dozen or so characters made of the same card stock.  I think it may have been an AD&D product.  There was a knight (I think with "Heart" in his name), well, that's the only one in particular I remember.  But there were good and bad guys.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?  I've tried to search online but with what little information I remember it's proving to be a difficult task.  I played with that castle all winter long having tons of D&D adventures of my own.

Thanks for any help with this...

Do the names "Strongheart" and "Warduke" bring anything to mind?

I know exactly what item your talking about.  Though I can't recall it's actual name....

LJN made the plastic action figures & accessories (including the plastic "Fortress of Fangs" castle/playset).  I'm not sure who made the cardstock products though.

Not sure about the castle, but the figures are going for anywhere from 20-30 bucks apiece. Dang, I used to have Strongheart, Warduke, three Bullywugs, a couple of Stalwart men At Arms, and a Fire Elemental. LOL, we used to get goofy with them and a set of GI Joes (the small ones) with a crazy story about how the Joes unearthed the physical embodiments of Good and Evil, two forces that were destined to fight forever but never actually destroy each other. Somehow, the Joes had to justify these epic battles at ancient sites across the world in their annual budget requests to the Pentagon, since telling the truth would have gotten them shut down. Their most exotic site for an Epic Battle Between Good and Evil was at a Denny's Restaurant in Santa Cruz. (Yes, it was Strongheart and the Stalwart Men at Arms versus Warduke and the Bullywugs, with the Fire Elemental taking up residence dangerously close to the ammo dump.) Ah, we must have been out of our minds! (Or just really really bored...)

Hey, does anybody have the stats for Strongheart and Warduke?
