| #1The-Mage-KingFeb 03, 2010 17:17:28 | Alright everyone, name your favorite prehistoric or mythological animal (nothing humanoid in appearance) and color (if someone else has already gotten either... Pick your second favorite. If that one's picked too... Continue until you get one that's free). In a couple of days, I'll ask you another question in this thread. Mine, you ask? Wooly rhino and bright green. I await your responses with eagerness. |
| #2Ragnar_LodbrokFeb 03, 2010 17:21:04 | American Lion and Dark Green. |
| #3Robin_HoodlumFeb 03, 2010 18:21:11 | Bald Eagle and Red White, & Blue! |
| #4williamhm75Feb 03, 2010 18:28:34 | Tigard and hot pink. |
| #5EscherEnigmaFeb 03, 2010 18:44:05 | Dire bear, black & blue (with love) |
| #6RPJesusFeb 03, 2010 20:23:22 | Doppelganger (Displacer Beast if doppelganger is "too humanoid") and Crimson |
| #7Dougan_AxehammerFeb 04, 2010 0:03:53 | Stegosaurus and Evergreen |
| #8ADHadhFeb 04, 2010 4:04:53 | Does it count if the creature is not exactly prehistoric, but extinct nonetheless? If so, aurochs and royal blue. |
| #9The-Mage-KingFeb 04, 2010 11:28:55 | Bald Eagle and Red White, & Blue! One color, maybe with a secondary. Doppelganger (Displacer Beast if doppelganger is "too humanoid") and Crimson ...Displacer beasts aren't in mythological. They were imagined recently... Oh, well. Now, on to the next stage. What would you want to call an adventuing party including yourself and people with a similar power set, in two words? |
| #10ADHadhFeb 04, 2010 11:33:44 | With a power set like mine? Ignore Us. |
| #11The-Mage-KingFeb 04, 2010 11:36:57 | With a power set like mine? I'm sorry, I should have been more specific. Each with the same basic power set, which is beyond normal humans abilities. |
| #12boj0Feb 04, 2010 11:59:32 | Dragon, Red 18 Green 104 Blue 58 |
| #13EscherEnigmaFeb 04, 2010 13:57:10 | Red 18 Green 104 Blue 58 I dont' feel like digging up a program, so I'm gonna guess. A desaturated aquamarine, that's pretty close to grey? Edit: looks like I over-estimated blue's power, that's a forest/hunter green. |
| #14RPJesusFeb 04, 2010 14:54:51 | Doppelganger (Displacer Beast if doppelganger is "too humanoid") and Crimson Mythological Mythology Myth What would you want to call an adventuing party including yourself and people with a similar power set, in two words? The Gurren Brigade. |
| #15EscherEnigmaFeb 04, 2010 16:26:58 | What would you want to call an adventuing party including yourself and people with a similar power set, in two words? Regrettably Mortal? Sadly Human? Still Alive? Ivory Tower? |
| #16Ragnar_LodbrokFeb 04, 2010 17:17:06 | Who Cares? |
| #17Dougan_AxehammerFeb 04, 2010 19:50:18 | Martial Law Divine Intervention Arcane Mastery Primal Rage Head Case (Psionics) |
| #18The-Mage-KingFeb 05, 2010 8:25:37 | Martial Law This one is the best so far... Now, on to the third question, one that will decide if you're in or out: Combining Mecha. Yes, or No? |
| #19zombie_babiesFeb 05, 2010 8:26:50 | Martial Law Isn't that the name of a Steven Segall movie? If it isn't, it should be. |
| #20ADHadhFeb 05, 2010 8:29:24 |
Yes. |
| #21RPJesusFeb 05, 2010 14:49:02 |
Obviously. |
| #22sebialeFeb 05, 2010 20:36:17 | Godzilla, and black. |
| #23EscherEnigmaFeb 05, 2010 21:12:25 | Combining Mecha. Yes, or No? Since everything's been biological up to this point, that would be very gross. |
| #24Dougan_AxehammerFeb 06, 2010 2:39:02 | Now, on to the third question, one that will decide if you're in or out: Of course. |
| #25ADHadhFeb 06, 2010 5:17:09 | I wish I could find a video showing Megas combining with the Power Rangers/Voltron stand-ins. |
| #26The-Mage-KingFeb 06, 2010 9:00:16 | You asked for the Megazord transformation sequence? |
| #27ADHadhFeb 06, 2010 12:16:30 | You asked for the Megazord transformation sequence? Not at all, I've meant the parody in Megas XLR ;P |
| #28Ragnar_LodbrokFeb 06, 2010 12:21:22 | Yeah, I suppose. |
| #29The-Mage-KingFeb 07, 2010 13:00:56 | GOOD! Now, the next vital question, given that fur people have said yes to combining mecha! Color coded costumes with face concealing helmets. Yes, or no? |
| #30Ragnar_LodbrokFeb 07, 2010 20:10:44 | No. They need to be uniform and practical (as in bulletproof). |
| #31pigknightFeb 07, 2010 20:40:00 | Black Cthulhu Ranger? |
| #32RPJesusFeb 07, 2010 21:03:26 | GOOD! Now, the next vital question, given that fur people have said yes to combining mecha! Nah, armor only gets in the way of being awesome. |
| #33The-Mage-KingFeb 08, 2010 9:12:23 | ...I take it that the OTT Rangers won't be wearing spandex, in that case... |
| #34williamhm75Feb 08, 2010 9:29:18 | yes to the costumes but only in bubble gum crisis tokyo 2040 or Voltron. |
| #35boj0Feb 08, 2010 10:09:16 | D&D players + spandex... /shudder |
| #36The-Mage-KingFeb 08, 2010 10:16:57 | Everyone knows that the Ranger suits... adjust a bit. |
| #37ADHadhFeb 08, 2010 11:51:34 | Without the helmets. Or with them, but white with colour elements. EDIT: Or completely white with mask and cap |
| #38Dougan_AxehammerFeb 08, 2010 20:29:18 | GOOD! Now, the next vital question, given that fur people have said yes to combining mecha! Depends on whats included in the helmet: if there's no HUD, then definitely no. However, I can see a mecha team wearing similarly colored uniforms, as long as there is a superior heads-up display, and possibly a combined neural network when the mechs are combined (such as Samas Aran's power suit has.) |
