#1 RUMPLESTIX Nov 01, 2009 17:32:56	Sorry, this is kind of a silly but intersting thread, IMO. I was looking for information to try and determine what was the farthest north of the stone pyramids built in the Americas (stone as opposed to the mound pyramids built in the Mississippi River basin...) and I uncovered a few interesting things. First, check out this structure built by the U.S. military back in the 60s... A couple of short discussions on it can be found at these two spots: The Pyramid of North Dakota (Atlas Obscura) Sacred North Dakota pyramids   Another thing I found that caught my eye was this: Atlantis in Wisconsin According to the Greek historian Herodotus Berbers wore what we call "Mohawk" haircuts -- like many North American Indian tribes. Herodotus also mentions that the Berbers engaged in the same kind of "vision quest" commonly found in North American cultures "To this day," adds Madison, "Berbers have the same kind of animal legends as North American Indian mythology Berbers had arrowheads, atlatls (spear throwing devices),FEATHERS IN THEIR HAIR and wore fringed leather clothing, similar to the Native American Indians of North America Using the Berberian Pits and Mounds for Vision Quests WISCONSIN AND ATLANTIS  - THE ROCK LAKE CONNECTION More can be read here...
