Of course. He wanted to make money off of it. Why else do you think he pushed to have them installed in the first place?

Yep.  And that's why they shouldn't be installed anywhere.  It's about fixing politician's f-ups under the guise of improved safety.  I don't wanna play that game.

Exactly...
Fortunately they are being taen down. Unfortunately they are going to have to break the contract. The city will probably have to pay the company for breaking the contract, so there goes some more money.

I think their pay ought to be directly proportional to public opinion of their performance...
