For those of us who were living the quiet life...we can now look forward and back to the prospect of our own parents no longer being our parents when we wake up tomorrow. Hint: We do not dream. In the off chance they even form something with infinite gravity...it will likely vaporize due to its size. (so stephen hawkings theorizes.) their goal is just to discover dark matter..which supposedly comprises of most of the mass of the universe...and it exists in a dimension that we dont exist in where the force of gravity plays a larger role. but what do i know...i went to college for computer animation....i didnt go for 12 years of astrophysics. i trust they know what there doing more than internet article writers who only read 'A Brief History of Time' |

A black Hole is not "heavy" at the centre, it is orbited by debris that is in your terms "heavy" (heavy is just a change in the value of Pi). At the centre is a K-object (They thought a singularity was the point of destruction of everything-but a K-object is actually a point of change in possibility with debris of change providing the possibility for other possibility to interact with that change and go the same way) where the Universe Begins and Ends simultaneously (The Universe being debris of change in possibility-not what caused the change in possibility). I spent three years examining everything I could find on string theory, and realized that if they were wrong and I was right there would be some set of rules by which everything worked that proved I was right. The Debris Universe functions as a single object separated by change in possibility - that tells us that there are Black holes in our Universe making use of the Debris of possibility and the Debris of our Universe is tied to a Black hole outside the limits of our Universe. So it is about fluid dynamics at every level - but the fluid is change in possibility (K/0=d{K^n} [change in an infinite set to a new set related to the previous only at superposition]). You want scary: Chess is a game played by one Player and black and white are the same pieces connected at superposition at a K-object. |

I have a degree in astrophysics, which includes quantum physics and general relativity, and I can't make head nor tail of what he's talking about. If you want to learn about string theory in more detail, you're better off reading Wikipedia or seeing if there are any good videos on YouTube. Wasn't the point of the supercollider to confirm or deny the existence of Higgs boson? It's doing both. Searching for the Higgs boson is probably the most important experiment, but they are going to use it to look for dark matter, too. |

This merger occurs normally at superposition but now occurs in the universe becomming a superposition object (a K Object - undoubtably the Higgs Bosun if we are talking about the same thing) This K object has debris possibility in the universe left behind allowing other "possibility to merge with the K-object simply by addressing the debris possibility. For you the Black hole is expanding outward from the point of origin eating the universe but it is simply being interacted with by possibility that makes up the Universe. When the K-object separates it does so into a new set of possiiblity and its mirror possibility.(B) & (/B). As the black hole "expands" it does so outward through possibility. That Possibility is from your point of view both forward and backward through time. |

I have to agree with ieattrollsforbreakfast. I have a Ph.D. in Solid State Physics and I'm at home with Quantum Physics, Group Theory, General Relativity and even Fluid dynamics. I must stress that Black Holes are not really so dangerous as they may be presented by the media. The gravity outside the Swarzschild Radius (let's take a non-rotatig black hole) is normal gravity decreasing as 1/R^2. So, to be sucked in, something must come quite close to the black hole. A common example would be what would happen to the Earth if the sun was suddenly compressed to form a Black Hole (our compression also stopped the rotation to keep things simpler). Well, the answer is that it's orbite would not change. The mass inside it's orbit did not change, so by Gauss Law (which is correct for every force in 1/R^2) the gravitationnal field felt by the Earth did not change. We are talking about black holes with radii one million times smaller then the radius of a nucleus. Even if it does not evaporate as fast has we think, the probability of it devouring particles is so small it is neglible. They would be the analogue of neutrinos. They would not even feel the effect of the Earth and it's gravitationnal field. So, stop the paranoïa. On a more general note, the reasonning of yellowdingo is more flawed then mentionned. It suffers the full width of the Causality Paradoxe. Which shows the invalidity of the premises or the logic. |
