The original was pretty good, because A) when it came out it was still a relatively new and not-overdone concept at that point, B) it was vaguely well-written and C) Ashton Kutcher was still a human being and not a Pop Culture Icon so he was forced to actually do some acting in it, but Butterfly Effect was a lot like Highlander: there can be only one... I'd rather watch the sequel to Titanic than the other two.

A remake could be interesting, but I'm pretty sure it's not particularly necessary.
