| #8pluisjenMar 09, 2011 6:29:43 | Heh, I didn't think you'd actually bother to read the article before going off on a political tirade at the mention of the word "left". Guess I was right. (Yep, 100% rightie!) |
| #9jesse.two.coinsMar 09, 2011 6:34:11 | Heh, I didn't think you'd actually bother to read the article before going off on a political tirade at the mention of the word "left". I read it my little brother is ambidextrous |
| #10Robin_HoodlumMar 09, 2011 6:37:16 | Heh, I didn't think you'd actually bother to read the article before going off on a political tirade at the mention of the word "left". Yes. For once plu, you are correct. I totally didn't read the article and went off half-cocked because I thought it was about the bad kind of Lefties. My bad. And guess what, I'm RIGHT handed! Surprised? |
| #11pluisjenMar 09, 2011 6:40:49 | I'd be surprised if you were WRONG handed. Also, there's about a 90% chance of someone being right-handed, so no, not surprising at all |
| #12jesse.two.coinsMar 09, 2011 6:43:20 | I'd be surprised if you were WRONG handed. This is my kind of joke ![]() |
| #13Robin_HoodlumMar 09, 2011 7:40:27 | I'd be surprised if you were WRONG handed. Heh... Yeah, it was funny... a little... |

| #22jesse.two.coinsMar 09, 2011 8:18:19 | Dang... just do it later? |

| #24jesse.two.coinsMar 09, 2011 8:33:19 | I hadn't heard of him, but he's pretty funny I think he died? ![]() |
| #25zombie_babiesMar 09, 2011 9:53:42 | Yup. He was really funny but is really dead. He was also a pretty interesting cat. Major stagefright issues. That's why he wore those glasses. Sometimes he'd perform with his eyes closed or even with his back to the crowd. And he liked the drugs. And so he is dead. 'I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too.' 'A severed foot is the ultimate stocking stuffer.' Etc |
| #26zombie_babiesMar 09, 2011 12:16:39 | I wouldn't be irritated, but frightened. Reagan is dead. Then again, I don't think the dead have 'handedness'. Meh, you're all good. |
| #27boraxeMar 09, 2011 12:51:28 | I'm ambidextrous, which I think is an odd word. Dexterous was "Right" so ambidestrous means "Two Rights." Not quite. Dexterous means "adroitly skilled with the hands". It derives from "dexter", meaning "right hand", which in turn comes from ths Latin "dextra, but does not itself mean "right". |

I see what you did thar!!! LOL |
| #30EscefMar 09, 2011 13:34:53 | I'm right handed. But I am also left eye dominant, so I shoot left handed. That took some getting used to. |
| #31zombie_babiesMar 09, 2011 13:37:28 | I'm right handed but left legged. When I started martial arts my left leg was such a spaz that I practiced a lot to correct it. It became my better kickin' leg. Totally, totally not the same thing, but I'm really sorta out there today. |
| #32pluisjenMar 09, 2011 15:18:50 |
![]() Too bad though ladies, I'm taken. |
| #33Mad_JackMar 09, 2011 20:45:26 | I claim official status as a sinister person, but I'm more ambidextrous. I write left-handed, but I can do it right-handed if I feel like it - it's slower, and pretty crappy cuz I don't practice much, but it is readable. When I was in kindergarten, the teacher tied my left hand to the chair - and yes, this was relatively recently, in the mid-70's... (Then again, I can write legibly with both feet as well, lol.) I'm certainly naturally fairly ambidextrous, but more so due to living in a right-handed world. I paint left-handed, catch and swing a bat lefthanded, but most of the tasks at nearly every job I've held in my life have basically required me to function as a right-handed person. Hell, check out my work in the picture thread in the CharDev forum - I'm a left-handed person using a mouse in my right hand. |
| #34Dark_StrykeMar 09, 2011 21:50:01 | I'm left handed, but as a result of living in a "right handed world" as Mad_Jack put it, I do several things right handed. Of course I use my right hand for mousework. I can't not use a right handed mouse. In school I played the violin "right handed", which always seemed strange to me. The "rightie" way of playing both violin and guitar uses the left hand for far more fine movements than the right. In fact, when playing Guitar Hero, I don't use the "Lefty Flip" option, while at least one of my right handed friends does! For most tasks though - writing, batting, throwing, bowling, whatever - I use my left hand. I'm left footed as well, if such a thing exists. |
| #35pluisjenMar 10, 2011 1:20:31 | Of course I use my right hand for mousework. I can't not use a right handed mouse. I'm curious. Why can't you not use a right handed mouse? Left handed mice exist, and they're not so huge that you can't have one in your bag if you ever need to use someone else's computer. |
| #36Evil_Rabbit101Mar 10, 2011 9:24:57 | Of course I use my right hand for mousework. I can't not use a right handed mouse. He probably got used to using a right-handed mouse. Not many school have left-handed mouses (or is it mice?) available. Most places you go to to use a computer have only right handed mouses. |
| #37Dark_StrykeMar 10, 2011 11:29:45 | Yeah, I think I was around 18 years old before I even heard that left handed mice existed. At this point I'm far too comfortable using my right hand for the mouse to switch. |
| #38pluisjenMar 10, 2011 11:47:44 | Makes sense, yeah. There's a lot of lefthanded equipment out there, but you have to know where to find it probably. |
| #39ADHadhMar 10, 2011 12:27:16 | For most tasks though - writing, batting, throwing, bowling, whatever - I use my left hand. I'm left footed as well, if such a thing exists. Soccer players certainly have a primary leg, so yes. |
| #40Mad_JackMar 10, 2011 20:15:45 | Actually, the hard part of using a left-handed mouse isn't so much actually having a left-handed mouse, but having a left-handed computer desk... Unless you're sitting your computer on your kitchen table or on a regular writing desk, most computer desks tend to be designed with space for the mouse on the right side. My own desk here at home has a pull-out extension on the right side. I also faced a similar problem in school with the desks in the classrooms - the top of the desk was atached on the right side, which meant that the arm support was also on the right side. Writing with my left hand, there was no place to rest my arm while writing. |
| #41IdolisMar 10, 2011 20:23:31 | I'm right handed but I do a lot of things with my left. For instance, I play golf left-landed but bat right when I'm playing baseball, I write with my right hand but use my left to control the mouse on my computer. I guess I could be ambidextrous if I tried but I'm lazy. |
| #42EscherEnigmaMar 10, 2011 21:31:09 | I tried drawing something with my left hand. It looks like crap. So yeah, I'm still right handed. |
