cool, I sing too, but I only started because the bands I was starting with my cusin never had a singer, we used to buy jam studio time and singers wouldn't show up so I started trying to sing to get our money's worth, after some time I was the defacto singer it seemed in every band I was in except like 2.

I know about three or four old songs on the harmonica and I've written harmonica parts for a couple modern songs, and can play Scarborough Faire on the whistle.

I play guitar, not very well but i do play. I just recently discovered that if your guitar is properly tuned (Easter Bunny Gets Drunk At Easter) you can play the riff from Golden Earing's Twilight zone by just strumming the top 3 strings, so thats my little test to tell if im in tune or not, the top 3 strings any ways, currently im not very in tune. I currently only know 2 chords, the Power chord and the Bar chord.
power chords and bar chords are a good way to learn noted positions on the guitar since the chord pattern is the same all the way up and down the neck on the top 3 strings. Once you know where each note is (your index finger on the fattest string is the route note of the chord your playing) then if you play with others you just have to ask "what are the chords?" and follow along.

Actually, my contracts include a stipulation for "undue expenses". Any job-related expenses above a certain threshold are automatically tacked on to the bill upon completion. So long as the customer can afford it, there won't be a problem.
Besides, live delivery is an extra $2500. While some of that goes into containment and the general hassle of it all, coupled with the fact that I lose entertainment, it should cover some of the rest.

Those all sound like reasonable charges for your services, but there is something you overlooked. ZB lives in Ohio. It's a given he is gong to die a horrible death. I mean, it's Ohio for christ's sake. Draco lives in Missouri. Not only will he die a horrible death the likes of which you can't even imagine, but he is living a life tht is far wose than any hell. The grail is a sweet pedal, I've used it on many occassions, I've never had the chance to play through an Orange yet, but they do sound great.

The reason I want an Orange is to handle the heavier stuff I want to play. My Fender HRD Combo is awesome, but it can't really deliver the nice distorted tones of an amp designed for that kind of thing. I've looked at bunch of brands, and the Orange amps seem to deliver the tones I want at a reasonable price. And one of my favorite "new" bands- Boris- uses them almost exclusively.
Fenders are great pratice/jam amps but I've never took one on stage. they just don't have the balls. My main amp is a 1972 Traynor Custom Deluxe Reverb with a Traynor PA cabnet (I think the same year) it is beats

The SG I've owned since 13 years old $799 with case
, I will never sell it, its my go too. The Musicmaster was a closet case, spend 20 years in its case in a guys closet it belonged too his father and he sold it too me for $300 with its original case back in like 2003. It totally looks its age lol. His dad installed a late 0's early 50's fender lapsteel lipstick pickup in the bridge position, the guitar is a total tone machine.I've owned a few other older ones over the years, a 63' Fender Jazzmaster and a 1913 Gibson L-3 Accoustic are the most notable.
my best deal ever was a 1994 Gibson ES-175 D that I bought for $200 with case, two packs of strings, strap and a patch cord

the late 80's early 90's were the best times to pick up vintage gear, everyone was all like "It has to be new and shiny!" and hocked their old gear to buy new guitars that in most cases were remakes of the things they hocked lol.
My father and I scooped alot of sweet guitars back in the day, there was a store near us that had a wall of 50's-60's Fender/Gibson/Gretsch/Rickenbacher etc. all the time, thats where my SG came from, the day I tried it out I also tried 3 early 60's strats, a 60 country gentlemen, a 55 esquire and a 59 gibson es-335, but all I wanted was that SG

I was just getting started then too, but my dad schooled me in the ways of tone and quality in guitars. Ovi's are pretty solid, not my personal type of guitar but they are good. Guitars always get better with age my BC Rich was bought brand new in 1990 and now its mellowed out so well over the years it sounds like a martin.

I am so jelous right now. All I got is a beat up Ibanez with four strings, I really need to get some new strings! And I think the speaker in my amp is blowd, I really only have 2 settings, distortion, and super fuzz! But I kinda like it, the neighbors hate it, but screw them!

Well, today, at work, my trainee was there, hes got 13 stiches in his hand but hes back, so I figured I could just stand around and make him do all the work, nope, they moved me over to the threfitooooo, actually its the 352, but theres this Indian guy who normally runs it and thats what he calls it, any time hes on the intercom paging a forklift driver or whatever, he always says "Forklift threfitooooo!"
Its just funny that way he says it, he really draws out that 2, and im not being racist or anything, I would still think its funny even if he wasnt Indian. So any way I had to bend like 420 of theses one parts, I dont even know what the hell they were for! Any way, like an hour before closing time, the boss comes up to me and is like oh these other parts need to be bent and sent to paint before the end of the night, they got two different set ups! first the tabs, then I got to change the tooling and then do the body bends, I didnt know what the hell I was doing, I never bent them before, and all I had to go on was Indian guy's notes, "Band 1 stensil down", but I got the

if its an old Ibanez than you might have a gem, the old Conord accoustics are awesome and you can get them for about $300 tops (they sound and play like a gibson accoustic)

My guitars are:
- 12 string electroaccoustic George Washburn cheapo model. Kinda a lemon but servicable.
- Yamaha LA-8 accoustic (about 25 years old or so) probably made in Korea by hand. Has a very nice deep tone great for studio work, unlike the usual brightness of most cheap Yamahas.
- Fender F210 accoustic (about 28.5 years old) really street performance guitar. Pretty decent sound but terrible intonation at the high frets (14-16).
- Epiphone SG dark cherry electric. Nothing fancy but a decent work guitar. Very pretty too.
Yeah yeah not nearly as impressive as Danny A but then again small apartment in NYC = not that much storage area for instruments.
Also have a little Orange which suits my needs without being too much for my neighbors.

The Boss Rotary is everything they say it is. Solid construction, easy to use, and a nice bunch of tones. I can't look now, but there is a video of a guy using one to dial in a man good David Gilmour tone such as was in "Shine On You Crazy Diamond." I got VERY lucky- mine was a store demo in great shape, so they knocked about 65% off the price. It looked like it had hardly been touched, and had all the documentation and the box as well.
