#1 ManoVega Mar 05, 2010 11:56:24	Hi, I'm Manny Vega, I draw things. Some of you may recognize me from such comics as: KODT: Hackmasters & KODT: Everkinghts. Sometimes I write, but I find that I can't get up the intensity to write something that can be posted on a web site every other day. Too much work for my brain, me draw good. So I'm looking for someone who would be interested in writing a web comic, someone who can't draw to save their life, but has a great idea burrowing into their brain-pan. Ideally I'd like for it to be a humorous cartoon about D&D (or D&D-like scenarios). I don't want it to be about gamers, I want it to be about characters with a story. In fact, I'd like to do something like a choose-your-own-adventure cartoon. #2 steverodriguez123 Mar 30, 2010 15:45:08	Hey, just sent you an email about this but thought why not send a post here as it might be easier to respond through this, 'Hey,   I know it was a while ago you sent up this message on the D&D forums, was just wondering if you were still looking for a writer for a webcomic?  Just to let you know I would be pretty interested.  My imagination is pretty unexhaustive, yet still enjoys the odd clichés and stereotypes every-so-often.   If you are interest, would be great to get your ideas for what your expectations, plans for the webcomic to be etc     Would be great to sort something out   look forward to hearing from you     SteveRodriguez'
#3 steverodriguez123 Apr 02, 2010 11:00:47	Hey don't know if you got my last message yet.  I was a bit rushed when writing it so only have time to add the bare minimum, while probably not making too much sense. But anyway,  just thought I would give you a bit more useful information, if you are still interested in doing a D&D character-based webcomic.  I've had a chance to look over some of your work from your website and from dungeon crawlers and was suitably impressed. About me though.  I'm currently coming to the end of my masters degree in environmental science and yes I realise that doesn't instantly make you think I'm a good writer.  Neither would the fact that I haven't gotten anything I have wrote published, though I haven't tried for anything.  However I am pretty experience in the non-resumé form of experience.  Most of my writing I do is childrens shorts stories, usually with a slightly darker trist (more along the lines of Grimm Brothers than Disney).  I also invent more stories than I can write as its easier to come up with an entire story than write one while waiting for the bus or train.  I'm hoping at somepoint in the future to create my own webcomic that is not D&D based, simply due to the fact I have had the entire storyline set out for quite a while now, however that is more of a life goal creating that story.  I'm a fan of games, such as D&D (who would have guessed), videogames and webcomics along with other things such as photography (due to the lack of artistic ability).  Most of my story-telling occurs verbally by regaling friends and companions with very creative stories (which also helps with campaign building as a DM).  In a sense, I use words to compensate for my lack of artistic ability So, if your now wondering why I described all the above to you, I felt the need to after reading your resumé I felt it only fair to share a background to what I would 'bring to the table', especially after the short and incoherent message I sent previously. I may likely not be able to reply in detail to any messages I receive over the coming fortnight due to a pile of work that is making its way to my to do pile. I look forward to hearing from you Steve
