| #2toastedamphibianNov 18, 2009 22:38:16 | Try "Pirates, Knights, and Vikings", it is a source mod (Like team fortress) where you play on one of the three titular factions as one of a variaty of themed classes and use your selected weapons to complete map specific objectives like hold the fort or steal the gold. Actually, now that I think about it, Age of Chivalry was quite a bit better. So play it instead (Also a source mod) but keep an eye out for PKV II, it should be coming out real soon. Both are free if you own Half-Life II. If you don't have any source games, you can buy Halflife II or counterstrike source for 19.99 or day of defeat source for 9.99, any of which will let you get in on the source mod stuff, of which there is really an absurd amount. |

It's an indie game from Poland, I believe (but in English, don't worry), with awesome mounted combat mechanics, and realistic sized battles - that is to say, a few hundred guys per side is quite the battle. And a crapload of mods at M&B Database (which I'd totally link to, if Internet here weren't so slow). |
