#1 powercat Jan 31, 2009 23:48:53	Are there any tennis fans on the boards? I started following tennis my sophomore year of college when I was stuck at home on spring break. ESPN2 was showing a lot of the French Open. It was Nadal's first year winning the title, so I got to see some really good tennis, and I've been hooked since then. I saw the last set of the Nadal/Verdasco semifinal. That was an amazing match. Spaniards should take pride in the outstanding play of these two men. The contrasting styles were remarkable: Verdasco's awesome offense and Nadal's unbelievable defense. Bravo. I just wish the final weren't held at 2:30 a.m. my time. Federer/Nadal is, in my opinion, the best rivalry in sports right now. I just can't force myself to root for one over the other.
#2 erleni Feb 01, 2009 15:58:05	I'm a tennis fan. Today's game between Federer and Nadal has been everythyng you could ask for if you love this sport. By the way I've always been a Nadal supporter since the very beginning, so I'm twice happy. Federer is a nice player, but he's too "Swiss" for me, while Nadal is a real fury on the field. Started to watch tennis about 15 years ago. First match I saw live was Ivanisevic vs. Korda.
