| #1xladyfayreJan 09, 2013 22:03:23 | I just love chocolate! My boyfriend got me these awesome dark chocolate covered graham crackers. They are absolutely amazing! I love most chocolate though unless it has raisins or other nasty thing, haha. I do prefer dark chocolate over milk chocolate but I enjoy both. If its around, I'll eat chocolate daily. I'm not waiting for the day in which that will catch up to me, haha. But, gotta enjoy it while it lasts? :D |
| #2pigknightJan 09, 2013 22:53:17 | I prefer white chocolate, but either way I go with small amounts. |
| #3xladyfayreJan 09, 2013 23:02:11 | I never found white chocolate appealing, honestly. |

| #7KlirshonJan 10, 2013 7:15:15 | That is probably because white chocolate is mostly made of cocoa butter. |
| #8xladyfayreJan 10, 2013 7:53:30 | I'm just an incredibly picky eater, haha. |

| #13Robin_HoodlumJan 10, 2013 12:36:49 | Do you know that your "fix" will be corrected by someone eventually, RH? Why? A female not of legal age is a "girl". Therefore, it was unnecessary to put "of legal age" in there. I did nothing wrong. But thanks for caring. ![]() |

That's terribly sad. I'll pray for you. Er, I would if I did that sort of thing. One country song is one too many. Yar. Country blows. |

Know how many country singers it takes to change a light bulb? 4. 1 to change the bulb and 3 to sing about how much they miss the old one. |
| #38xladyfayreJan 10, 2013 14:11:36 | Hey, Alizee is not country like Shania Twain is! She's French Pop! Aww French isn't awful. I like other music as well- not just country and French. |

| #48xladyfayreJan 10, 2013 15:04:07 | I like country, christian, french, some spanish, jpop, jrock, rock, and pop. I mostly listen to country and christian though, honestly. I just find a comfort zone in certain artists... I listen to pop the least with the exception if 'country pop' which is new country but is actually pop. But there's just music genres I don't like such as hard metal and screaming. I loathe screaming so much since it causes headaches. As for jpop, I don't think its bad. I also like kpop. :D |
| #49KlirshonJan 10, 2013 15:04:42 | Is it because of the lyrics? Metal doesn't need words and can even be accomplished with one instrument. |
| #50xladyfayreJan 10, 2013 15:30:45 | Is it because of the lyrics? Metal doesn't need words and can even be accomplished with one instrument. No. Its the whole sound. |
| #51Robin_HoodlumJan 10, 2013 15:34:18 | Is it because of the lyrics? Metal doesn't need words and can even be accomplished with one instrument. Yeah. That's what turns me off country music. |
| #52KlirshonJan 10, 2013 15:37:36 | A pity as this next one is folk metal and yet so beautiful that even a machine can appreciate it... |
| #53xladyfayreJan 10, 2013 15:39:59 | Is it because of the lyrics? Metal doesn't need words and can even be accomplished with one instrument. That's fine. Everyone is different. I'm not sure why certain sounds have a physical effect on me but they do. A specific band also doesn that to me as well and I enjoy their sound- Evanesance. Once I brought their cd on my paper route and it was the only one so I couldn't change it. I had a horrible headache by the time that was through. Now I get a headache before one song is done, unfortunately. So its not like I abhor all metal- it just has the physical effect on me that actually hurts which is unfortunate because I enjoy listening to lots of different music. But since I'd rather feel like I don't want to scream I stay away from headache-causing stuff. |
| #54xladyfayreJan 10, 2013 15:43:08 | A pity as this next one is folk metal and yet so beautiful that even a machine can appreciate it... I don't hate their sound but I don't find the voice appealing in my opinion. Know anything similar? |
| #55KlirshonJan 10, 2013 15:59:20 | My database is having issues locating one similar with a different vocalist. All it could locate was this one and it is the same singer but with english lyrics (with finnish accent). |

| #60Mad_JackJan 10, 2013 20:56:26 | Know what happens when you play a country song backwards? It soiunds less scratchy and squeaky, even with the needle scraping against the record like that... |
| #61xladyfayreJan 10, 2013 20:56:26 | I notice a lack of metal included in that list amongst other genres... That is not the first time this has been said to me ;) |

All it could locate was this one and it is the same singer but with english lyrics (with finnish accent). I've come to the conclusion that I don't enjoy finnish music. I like the sound but then when the artist sings I don't like the voice which is very important to me when listening to music. Maybe I'd like finnish female music, lol. The artists you showed me sounded..... harsh. What genre are they? They didn't induce any headaches. |
| #63Robin_HoodlumJan 10, 2013 21:26:54 | They didn't induce any headaches. Then it's definately not the goldo genre. |
| #64xladyfayreJan 10, 2013 21:28:56 | They didn't induce any headaches. lol |
| #65Ragnar_LodbrokJan 10, 2013 22:32:15 | My database is having issues locating one similar with a different vocalist. All it could locate was this one and it is the same singer but with english lyrics (with finnish accent). Korpiklaani is metal. More specifically, folk metal. |
| #66KlirshonJan 10, 2013 23:50:55 | I suppose the metal genre and its variations just aren't for you due to your brain's structure and parameters. That is an unfortunate condition but it could be cured through invasive surgery neurological engineering. So here's something else that is not jpop or country instead of metal: I suppose I should thank ZB (or Pandora) for bringing this metaphorical gem to my attention. |
| #67ADHadhJan 11, 2013 1:55:16 | This thread is as lame as white chocolate. |
| #68bone_nagaJan 11, 2013 2:30:40 | This thread is as lame as white chocolate. It was much better when we were talking about women. |
| #69Robin_HoodlumJan 11, 2013 6:14:05 | This thread is as lame as white chocolate. Women are over-rated. Once you get my age, women are... meh. I would rather not be bothered. Face it, if it weren't for that slice of pie, I wouldn't have anything to do with women. They can't be trusted. |
| #70xladyfayreJan 11, 2013 8:01:31 | I suppose the metal genre and its variations just aren't for you due to your brain's structure and parameters. That is an unfortunate condition but it could be cured through invasive surgery neurological engineering. My boyfriend just showed her to me the other day. She's really good but really can't stand to just sit and listen to music without words. I end up feeling like I'm just waiting for the song to actually start... lol. |

| #76xladyfayreJan 11, 2013 12:17:59 | Its alright. I don't really see myself listening to it. Last night I found this one artist- Hanna someone.... it started with a P. Lol, I can't remember. She was Finnish. I did. I didn't like it. I listened to both. I don't hate men. Just in some music I prefer a female voice and it seems that way to me for Finnish artists. I didn't like the sound of the male voices presented to me. Perhaps eventually I'll find one that I do enjoy. I like plenty of other male artists in other genres. Growing up I LOVED boy bands like Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync. I like Nickelback, Of Monsters and Men, The Fray, and other artists I recognize that I like them but can't put and name on them. There are TONS of Christian and Country male artists I enjoy the voice of. But, its voice, sound and lyrics I look for in music. If even one of those is missing or off I tend to not enjoy it as a whole. |

| #80xladyfayreJan 11, 2013 12:29:58 | Oh well, you don't have to like my music and I don't have to like yours. |
| #81Robin_HoodlumJan 11, 2013 12:32:01 | Oh well, you don't have to like my music and I don't have to like yours. I never said you had to like mine. Why you picking fights? You're the one that keeps bringing up music and how you don't like men that sing. Sheesh! |
| #82xladyfayreJan 11, 2013 12:35:53 | Oh well, you don't have to like my music and I don't have to like yours. I never said I don't like men that sing. I most certainly like men that sing- Toby Keith, Tm McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson and Jason Aldean are all male country artists I enjoy. I also like Audio Adrenaline (which are a male Christian band), MercyMe (which is a male Christian band), and Stephen Curtis Chapman. :D |
| #83Robin_HoodlumJan 11, 2013 12:40:25 | Oh well, you don't have to like my music and I don't have to like yours. Well, ZB said that you said that you don't like men that sing. And you yourself have been very vocal (no pun intended) about how you don't like male voices in singing and that they give you a headache... especially Finnish men. Why you no like Finland? |
| #84xladyfayreJan 11, 2013 12:45:20 | Oh well, you don't have to like my music and I don't have to like yours. I said I did not like the Finnish male vocalists presented to me and that they sounded harsh to me. The thing that gives me a headache is screaming in music or hard metal- not male voices. I do not hate Finland. I just seem to not enjoy their male vocalists very much so far. That's not to say I may not find one I do enjoy listening to. But the ones presented to me ALL sound harsh. I do not like harsh voices and if that is a commonality between all of them then I probably will not enjoy any of them much. |
| #85Robin_HoodlumJan 11, 2013 12:55:10 | Oh well, you don't have to like my music and I don't have to like yours. Oh. Want to fight about something else? You pick! |

| #87Robin_HoodlumJan 11, 2013 13:16:31 | Oh well, you don't have to like my music and I don't have to like yours. Heh. Now we are fighting. No, you see, it is you who are wrong. Because I am never wrong. So, you are wrong by saying I am wrong, because I can never be wrong. It's all ZBs fault. |
| #88xladyfayreJan 11, 2013 13:22:17 | Oh well, you don't have to like my music and I don't have to like yours. You keep telling me I do not like male vocalists. That's wrong because I like male vocalists. So yes, if you keep telling me that I do not like male vocalists it will turn into a fight or I will stop replying to this. Of course you can be wrong! Everyone is wrong about something at some point! Lol |

| #91zombie_babiesJan 11, 2013 13:40:40 | I did. I didn't like it. I listened to both. Wow ... umm ... yeah. So bad booze and horrendous taste in music. You may be beyond hope. ![]() |
| #92Robin_HoodlumJan 11, 2013 13:44:28 | I never said I don't like Finnish male voices. I said I didn't like the ones presented to me in this thread. Oh! Or that you have, indeed, heard Finnish male voices outside of this thread that you do like? I mean, if you haven't heard other Finnish male voices outside this thread, yet you said that you never said that you don't like Finnish male voices, then how can you declare that you like any Finnish male voices at all if you've only heard ones you don't like? Why are you confusing everybody on here? |

| #109xladyfayreJan 11, 2013 15:46:30 | Christian rock is awesome :D Lol, well, i don't expect most people I come across to actually enjoy it. I happen to really enjoy it and will continue to love Christian rock and comtemporary music like Audio Adrenaline and Point of Grace (Point of Grace is Christian Contemporary). I started liking Christian music when I was twelve. I still enjoy it so I don't see that changing any time soon. I still like the music the same music plus whatever else I've found, lol. |

That's the thing about music for me- I only ever add to my library and never take away, haha. |
| #115xladyfayreJan 11, 2013 16:21:13 | "We believe that if we follow the pathway of a typical Christian band and stick to only playingchurches and stick to being signed to a Christian label, we're not going to fulfill the purpose that we are called to fulfill." (Ariel from Icon For Hire) I really love this about Christian artists like her and her band. Having a Christian label really impedes what most Christian artists set out to do in the first place because they end up mostly reaching only already Christian audiences. Thanks trappedslider for introducing me to Icon For Hire and The Letter Black! I really like them! :D |

| #121KlirshonJan 11, 2013 17:06:58 | It might be the only procedure that could get you to realise that Nickleback is terrible. |
| #122The_SilverswordJan 12, 2013 1:47:45 | Nickleback isnt all that bad, I mean I could think of far worse bands, like Warrant. |
| #123KlirshonJan 12, 2013 5:58:30 | That information doesn't change the quality {or lack thereof} for Nickleback however. |
| #124xladyfayreJan 12, 2013 14:04:24 | That information doesn't change the quality {or lack thereof} for Nickleback however. I don't know why everyone hates Nickelback |
| #125Ragnar_LodbrokJan 12, 2013 15:41:18 | And that's why a Taste-Instillment Operation is necessary. *pulls out duct tape and a power drill* Relax. This will hurt more if you struggle. |

| #129The_SilverswordJan 13, 2013 0:36:26 | Because I knew nobody would click on it. |
| #130The_SilverswordJan 13, 2013 0:43:58 | Ok, ok I "fixxed" it, that did get kinda annoying, click on thread 'rosckstar' begins playing, read Klirshon's post, go to post a reply-'rockstar' begins playing, successfully post a reply-'rockstar' begins playing. But yeah I admit it, I like that song, even slapped it on a cd, that one and How you Remind Me, or was that Staind? I think it was Nickelback. |
| #131KlirshonJan 13, 2013 0:49:44 | That is incorrect. Only those with a peculiar preference for music and sadomasochists would activate that video. |
| #132The_SilverswordJan 13, 2013 0:53:04 | Ok, let me rephrase that, because I knew YOU wouldn't click on the video. |
| #133xladyfayreJan 13, 2013 0:57:51 | Like we all havnt found ourselves singing along to this one at one time or another: I love that song. Anyway, How You Remind me is indeed Nickelback. I also really love the song Photograph as well. |

Also, Zyzzx Rd. by StoneSour is phenomenal - especially if you know where & what Zyzzx Rd is (yes, it actually exists). There's always Gangnam Style (or the Klingon Style spoof). Oh, and a JPop that even these crazy bastards won't argue with: the Crazy 88's. |

| #152xladyfayreJan 13, 2013 19:18:56 | I didn't think it was bad but I don't think I ever saw either the whole way through, lol. I just don't care is what it comes down to. I don't download movies so I simply do not watch on the computer. Whether they are worth my time or not is irrelevant. The only things I do watch online are tv shows on NBC or ABC if I miss them or MLP: FiM on YouTube. I could Netflix but I don't know the login information for the computer and it cannot be set up on the xbox unfortunately. So I simply do not use netflix because it doesn't work on our xbox. Like I said, there are plenty I haven't finished that I did enjoy. I never finished the Fruits Basket manga because I don't want to until I can buy the rest when I know I could look them up on a manga viewer, I never kept up with One Upon A Time simply because I had other things going on but I also really enjoyed that and I never finished reading The Dresden Files. Those things are worth my time but I just never did. |

I just enjoy the stories of the POTC movies. I'll be honest, I didn't even know who Johnny Depp was until like after the second POTC movie because I didn't care who played Jack but rather that Jack was an important character to the story being told. I also really like magically-themed things as well which is why Charmed is one of my favorite series. I don't have a crush on any of the main men in it. Meh, I just never got into the "who is hotter?" thing.... |
