0, 0, 0, 0, 0 = space (taste like nothing).
0, 0, 0, 0, 1 = A (salty)
0, 0, 0, 1, 0 = B (bitter)
...
1, 1, 0, 1, 0 = Z (sour, sweet, and bitter).

5 left for punctuation.

Now, you really can taste "purple".
