His thread's too ghetto. I designate this the official thread for this topic.

I heard one woman lost a leg. She will never walk again.

It's always good to make jokes when people have been killed and injured. What other funny stuff can you come up with about the victims?

Gallows humor. I am completely aware this is not a funny situation, but you know, sometimes a situation is so tragic a little levity is needed.

Chia pet, you are absolutely correct! However, how many of those intermediate rounds does it fire when you pull the trigger? If the answer is "one", then it's not an assault rifle. Now, can you guess how many rounds the Armalite-15 fires when you pull the trigger?

An AR-15 (or rather M16/any other derivative, since many on these boards use the names interchangably) is capable of fully automatic fire. Some of its derivatives, mainly the M16A4, are capable of burst fire but not full-auto.

I'm sure the victims and their families would totally appreciate you making light of their situation just to lighten the mood. Because when a family member dies, nothing makes you feel better than a stranger making fun of their death. ;)

They're reporting that some folks were running into the smoke after the second bomb went off to help victims of both blasts. Heroes every one of them.

Sure sure, HS. I'm sure those victims families members are watching the D&D message boards ready to pounce on the first guy to crack a joke. Other than that, the jokes were about the gun control argument and not the bombings.

Still, point taken.

The political discussions as well as the joking aren't appropriate for our forums. I'm locking this thread.
