If you haven't heard of it yet, I highly suggest picking up a book called Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. My wife jsut finished it and couldn't put it down.  I started reading it at lunch (at work) and didn't want to stop. Here's the basics: Future world, everyone logs into a virtual reality MMO.  The creator of this game set up some quests and you win a ton of money if you solve the quest.  More importantly, the quests are about 80's themed things.  Lots of 80's pop culture references and a lot of other gaming references too.  Several D&D references in the first 30 or so pages. I've only read a few chapters so far, but it's well written.  Not your typical Sci-Fi or Fantasy story, more like a coming of age fiction story with some "adventure" built in. If anyone else has read it, let me know what you think.  I'll probably finish by this weekend. Show The first quest is for a key that is hidden in the Tomb of Horrors
