That the private corps didn't build that all by themselves. There are employees at NASA and they are the ones who have ideas and think of projects. Private corps help, but their are there for manufacturing needs. And those private corps are paid with collective money. Not to mention it's not one person behind those private corps. Those corps wouldn't exist without all the individuals who got educated in public funded schools and all the collective money that was invested in R&D over the years.
Without the collectivity we wouldn't have had space exploration. Not at the level we have today. It is a collective effort.
