Apparently, the Aussies have a huge wild camel problem, and an Egyptian businessman is attempting to get the government to let him build a slaughterhouse to process and ship wild camel meat for sale, mainly to Africa and the Middle East, where it's eaten fairly commonly.

I dunno, I'd give it a shot - so far I've eaten venison, squirrel, moose, gator, snake, cat, rat and eel. Could be interesting.

  The article I read today indicated that they would be seeking markets in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the States.

I am game to try it.

Actually, it's not - camels do extremely well anywhere they're been introduced (There are even herds of wild camels in Texas), and can do some serious damage to the environment if they're not held in check.

And, if you want a punchline, I once described a shady merchant in one of my games as a used-camel salesman....
