...high five!

Today is a happy day. I just learned that my most disruptive player is moving far away next week. We've been trying to get rid of this guy forever. He lives with one of my other players, so it's been almost impossible to go about 'uninviting' him. He's a grumpy, semi-hostile, homophobic little guy that doesn't take confrontation well, so no attempt to remedy his attitude has been at all successful. He doesn't really roleplay and almost exclusively plays evil characters.

I wish I felt a little bad for saying so, but I'm totally psyched that he's leaving. Our game had actually been suffering a bit because of this dude.

S'cool ... >:C I'm trying to get mah barings ... My players want to have some good RPing, but it's hard to actually do anything without somewhat forcing a few characteristics onto the character without getting them to come up with something ... y'know?

Ah well, I wanna play D:< What state you live in?

Q: Do you drink tea out of jars?

A: No, but we do drink alot of tea ... wait-- does a jam jar count? I mean it's practically a glass .... we're resourceful.

HAH! I knew it.

I know a cute girl from Oklahoma. She does the same thing. I always found it charmingly redneck. I come from Maryland/VA though, so I'm not hatin'.

Not in an 'intervention' sort of way, no. He wouldn't have sat through it. We'd tell him to relax when he got ******, or to lighten up. We'd tease him, good-naturedly, when he overreacted or got ******. Never accomplished anything.

Hey, I'm from Maryland and we're not that redneck. There are a few people who are, but Maryland has a reputation it hasn't earned for being redneck. Besides, neither the North nor the South wants us. The South calls us the North and the North calls us the South.

I spent some time in a little town called Nanjemoy. Yeah. The necks were pretty red.

The other MD towns I lived in (Indian Head, Charlotte Hall) weren't, really.

I haven't heard of any of those towns, so I don't know how redneck they are. Are they in southern Maryland? I've heard that southern Maryland is a little more rural.

Yep. Nanjemoy is on the Chesapeake. I went to a little private school down there, too. Southern Maryland Christian Academy.

We... don't talk about that, though.
