Really I think its all about the game, it should be able to stand on its own without any add-ons or what have you, if you have to pay extra to get upgrades because the game is insanely hard, or to get to the next level or something like that, then yeah screw that, I dont think most people would go with that, but I really dont think the majority of games will be doing that, not for long any way, unless of course the vast majority of people are idiots and fall for it, and it becomes a huge success and then everyones makin games like that, oh god, then were all screwed!

And I mean serious content, not a new outfit (unless wearing said outfit changed the game in some way.) Take GTA 4. What if just now they came out with mods to the original game? Added new cars, clothes, minigames, and perhaps a few new missions as well.

What about the original Bioshock? I haven't played that in ages, and some substantial content/updates would be interesting.

But the idea that I have to pay even more? After paying $60 for the game? I think for $60, they owe ME something. A complete game.

If the content is on the disc I paid for, then I should have free access to it. Capcom may think of the delivery system as the same thing, but I don't. I get to choose to download something or not.

You know, if the content is on the disc, and I choose not to pay to unlock it, I should charge THEM a "Storage Fee". I'm physically storing the content for them until such time I choose to unlock it. Therefore a storage fee applies.

Here's an idea; Want to make more money? Make another game.
