Batroc the Leaper. I'm guessing he is just one of the villains Captain American fights in this movie. Winter Soldier should still be in there. His name is still in the movie title.

They better have Paste-Pot-Pete in there!!

But seriously how you gonna have a Captain America movie without Paste-Pot-Pete!?

Easy: By not having him.

I'm curious how they are going to tie him into the Avengers 2 movie. Supposedly the Capatain America, Ironman and Thor movies are supposed to tie in somehow.

Captain America is fighting Batroc, Iron Man will be up against the Mandarin, I dont see how they would tie any of that into Thanos, theyre supposed to be fighting Thanos in Avengers 2 right?

I don't need to match him. He is in Quebec, and I'm in Miami. He isn't competition for me. You on the other hand...

There's Guardians of the Galaxy in the works, it will most likely feature Thanos.

Yup.  He'll just take you down and punch you in the face for 25 minutes.  Better men have tried to stop him and were wholly unable.  Us common men stand no chance.
#21

homicidal_squirrel

Mar 27, 2013 14:02:15
Yup. And if it wasn't in the script, Captain America wouldn't beat GSP either.

Exactly.  Cap would get taken down and pounded out like everyone else.

Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Willis? The shield can't be broken, and it's a ranged weapon. Cap would pwn GSP in under a second, yo.

The actor playing him is an entirely different story, though.
#26

homicidal_squirrel

Mar 27, 2013 21:35:20
I've yet to see the opponent GSP hasn't broken. GSP would take that unbreakable shield and use it to violate Captain America. The actor playing Captain America would probably just pass out if he was told he had to fight GSP.

Either that or shout "Flame on!" and fly away.

If by "flame on," you drop to his knees and service GSP, you are correct.

dood, GSP would take Cap down, cave his skull in with punches and elbows, drop a deuce on the corpse and then use the shield to wipe.

The_Silversword

It would depend on whether they were fighting in an issue of Captain America or an issue of GSP.

He would take them down, hold them down, beat their faces in for 25 minutes, shake their hands, and explain how that beating was a good thing for them and they will learn from it.
#38

zombie_babies

Mar 28, 2013 14:03:42

He's not really from Quebec.  That's just marketing stuff.  The UFC needed a presence in Canadia so they created the GSP backstory.  They're just lucky he let them.

Mar 28, 2013 14:45:50
Yeah, it's pretty obvious that GSP isn't of French descent. He actually wins fights!

Yup.  Like I said, it's just a marketing ploy to get more Canadianistani viewers.  And it worked, too.

Yeah... When GSP shows up at your hobo-infested "good neighborhood" condo - it's because someone told him you called him a "marginal hobbit".
