Attention all Democrats and Republicans! I supprot Cats being able to hold government office. It would work beautifully; just have the cats walk over to whatever piece of legislature that they want to vote for and crap on it.

Wouldn't work, cats bury their crap in ground.
It could work that way: whatever isn't shredded to pieces, goes.

I hate cats.

Is that anitsemitism directed toward Mordecai Katz, my jewish feline friend?

So now I hate Jews because I hate cats?

What in the hell is wrong with you?

There was a comic showing that all cats are Jewish, but I guess it was deemed offensive and removed, as it was nowhere to find.
(the cats did look a bit like those caricatures)

I'll give you another change to write a better and funnier comeback and ignore this answer that would indicate that you take things too seriously and the first level.

Now, I don't say this often.

I found Robin_Hoodlum's response both a) funny and b) timely, as it asks a very pertinent question.

Pertinent maybe, but funny? Adding the word "hell" does not make it funny. Of course, dumbing down is the norm right now and bad words are cconsidered humor. No wonder I do not watch TV or mainstream films anymore.

Herr derr, gotta attack D_S's intellect to save face. Wonderful leap of logic, there: Hoodlum said "Hell" -> Adding the word hell to a sentence doesn't make it funny -> Therefore D_S finds it funny because the word hell is in it (wtf?) -> Random tangent about mainstream media -> implied, poorly veiled insult that D_S watches mainstream TV (I don't watch any) and is thus inferior (???)

My amusement stems mostly from the way I imagined him saying/typing it, in a sort of frustrated/incredulous manner.

For me this applies to all posts beyond the first three or so.

I'm confused. I thought the OP was attempting to out troll goldy. (baised upon comments int he WDYWTTA thread) If so, your really going to have to step it up a notch, I mean, hell, everyone who was ontopic mostly agreed with you, and then goldy swooped in to draw the flames. Unless you are some kind of goldy alt, this thread is a fail trolling to be sure. (That is, if it was an attempt at trolling.)

No it wasn't trolling. They would do a better job than the morons we have now.

Gasp!

Oh spare me that sell-righteous crap that comes with all egotistical bastards. You think you are better than the rest of these people? Ha! As if. No, you talk all high and mighty but you are below the ground of my mountain fortress, the haven in the sky, the shelter of the darkness. You lurk in the shadows as an attention monger looking for some sort of salvation, purpose, or emotion dump. You and most other narcissists are dirt upon my shoe.

Alabastor seems a more likely tower building material. And its more environmentally friendly: thats the big thing nowadays, right?

Alabaster is soft (1.5 on that hardness scale thingy, you can scratch it with your finger nails) and water soluble. Maintaining an outdoor tower of the stuff is far more ostentatious.

It also requires a lot more work.  Pretentious doesn't necessarily mean productive.

Exactly, it is counter productive. It's not like youhave to do the work. It shows how far beyond the common man you are by demonstrating how little trivial matters of mundane origin touch you, practicality and upkeep costs are concerns fit only for the baser peasants.

Meh, ivory's easy enough to get.  Just kill a buncha elephants, walruses (walrusi?), narwhals, hippos and whales.  No biggie.
