| #1aran_kellSep 22, 2008 4:11:18 | What was the name of your first D&D player character? your favorite player character? the player character you wish you never made? as for me: First character: Norfiel Runeblade (evoker wizard made in 2nd edition.) Favorite character: Rook (Dragonborn Paladin in 4th ed) The character I wish I never made: Ibn (human cavalier, the one and only character I ever made in 3e) |
| #2ProinSep 22, 2008 5:00:17 | First: I don't rember his name (I was seven) but it was a halfling rogue. I had just finished reading the Hobbit, so what do you expect? :P Favorite: they're all so unique, I've enjoyed every character I've ever played. I don't always remember their names, but I remember the concepts and personalities. Wish I had never made: see "favorite" |
| #3BloodsoulSep 22, 2008 8:05:40 | First: Morganna - named after a vampire I tried drawing for a comic named Morgan Powers; been remade in D&D again and again as I got used to how vampires work. Favourite: Quintessa - started off humbly, ended up broken to all hell. A lot of my present characters and events have revolved around her in someway, though, so she's practically become the centerpoint of a pseudo-campaign. Never: Ash Williams, Tira, and any other character from some other source that isn't my mind. Fun for awhile, and I admit I do want to try statting out SoulEdge again, but I think I'll stick with my own creations. |
| #4draconsnighthawkSep 22, 2008 10:46:20 | What was the name of your first D&D player character? Elkleaf: A human ranger for 3.0. Got to level 4 before being smited by a god of justice. ( I spat in his temple...) your favorite player character? Two come to mind: Valice Rein: A sun elf wizard. Was enslaved by red wizards in his past. Now he knows that only magic is the answer. A worshipper of Mystra, he shruggles to learn magic at any cost. Second: Angel. A 8 year old female vampire from Vampire: Masqurade. She's a malkavian. She listens to her pet squrriel, Squirrelly. He tells her to burn things. (The squirrel is real. The voices are just her insanity) Man I have fun with her. Her mom killed her dad, and made Angel cut him up and put him in cupcakes to feed him to her classmates opening day of kindgarten. Then it slowly went down hill. Her adoptive parents insane, had her kill. She just doesn't know better. Intresting kills: On a raid to a hospital for rengade vampires, she pumped adrendine into all the ICU child patients. She was just playing doctor after all.... She wanted to help a homeless person, so she threw a $50 dollar bill into a street. Too bad a semitruck was coming.... Since priests can see spirits, she was more then willing to show him all her friends. Yay evil spirits! Among others. the player character you wish you never made |
| #5squarecircleSep 22, 2008 14:46:01 | First character was a Fighter in BD&D ("Fighter" in BD&D means "Human Fighter") named Dougan Brentson. He would make recurring cameo appearances in games I would DM (not as a DMNPC though, just an NPC). Favorite would probably be Juris Corpus, an assassin in 2e who took on a mini-Death from the Deck of Many Things-- and won. |
| #6temukaalietchfieldSep 22, 2008 15:30:37 | First PC? hell that's like 30 years ago, I have no idea what my first PC even was any more. My forum name is a shortened version of my most famous creation though. Temuka Alexis Lietchfield (which is 3 random place names in my atlas). Born a AD&D elf, lived as an Alternity human hermaphrodite super pilot, that switched into a Rolemaster version and is currently a 70th level World of Warcraft horde Druid PC of a friend of mine. Temuka has been gaming for about 20 years now. |
| #7baneofelvesSep 22, 2008 17:21:06 | My first character was Emoticon (nickname. Forgot what his real name was). He had his tongue cut out and had to mime everything. Later, he got his tongue back, but still pretended to have it gone, so people would think he was stupid and not watch their words around him. Favorite: Don't have one. I like each one for their aspects, whether they're goofs, pricks, cool, whatever. The one I wish I never made: I like all my characters, so I can't answer this one |
| #8rizen_isstaria_dupSep 22, 2008 20:02:41 | First: Armigo Lostforest, 3.0 half-elf ranger. I remade her for my first 4e character. Favorite: Nayamiir Etherendaar, elf ranger I actually got to epic from 1ft level. Also I loved my half-drow wizard Riiga, she was awesome. Never should have made: .. Fain Shinzun, Barbarian - frenzied berserker. She was a berserker in everyway. I love making off the wall characters and she really was. She used a Mercurial Fullblade (yeah I was power gaming, but the DM had it coming). She looked like Kukaku from Bleach. http://evilpixel.deviantart.com/art/Shiba-Kukaku-33019260 |
| #9doomsoughtSep 22, 2008 20:42:57 | first... some 2ed dwarf fighter. favorite: Brevi the Psuedodragon. Wish I never made: ...probably be the warmage. |
| #10ciaranSep 22, 2008 23:28:51 | First - 1st ed human Ranger named Buck. The rules were vague to us them. Favorite - 3.5, Glorivard, dwarven cleric with death and destruction domains. Deadly with save or die spells but 3 high level smites made him handy with a morning star too. Wish I never - a 3.5 10th level 1/2 orc ranger i threw together in record time, but not in a good way. 5 or 10 minutes. I didn't like playing him by the day was over. He lasted a few sessions but was always failing saves and getting beat down. Never got to shine once. |
