Peep it.

Protip: Do your research before you get humiliated.

Always remember, the news doesn't really care how accurate its information is.  That goes for pretty much every news source everywhere.

Yes.  I found myself laughing at this idiot making such idiots of the idiots that do the news.  But I was laughing in a good way and with him and at them.  Good times.

Another good one was when some person called a news station for birthday and anniversary announcements and gave them a crapton of names.  Names like Aster and Emma Rhoids.  They were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, you see.  The news anchor read 'em all.  They, IIRC, even appeared on screen.  Simply fantastic.

The best by far "Eaton Beaver turns 69 today."

Well of course.  The thing is, he did perform a service, too.  Namely, highlighting the fact that news programs don't do their due diligence and just run with what they're told all too often.  So, for that, we should thank him.

Thing is, it seems that the new stations did perform due diligence in determining the validity of his claims proportinoate to the claims themselves, but that this guy set up a network of false information to support them. There is only so far a newtwork is going to go in investigating a yo yo champ. I mean it's not like they're trying to find out if he was a guard at Dachau or something.

All this guy has proven is that he's a wanker.

Yeah, that's true.  I'd forgotten about the research involved.  Dammit, I need sleep or something.  He set up an elaborate network to support his lies.  That does make a difference.

This guy has got to be pulling a borat on everyone. The man is either insane, or a comedic genius.

Im not sure what this guys angle is. And yeah some of the blame could be put on the tv stations. They should have at least seen what he could do before putting him on live television.
