Because anything that's newsworthy without being "feel good" news is political.  Something I, Thunder, and calron (at least!) have learned from hard experience.

Apparently people enjoy this kind of music. They wouldn't get contracts if they didn't make any money.

Maybe some day the audience will grow out of it. Probably not.
