#11 Shiftkitty Feb 17, 2010 14:45:46	My husband and I played a game of chess one time that we called "Traitor". Play goes as normal for four full turns, but then make a hidden roll on a d8. Have a marker at one side of the board and each time you move after that point, you move the marker up one rank. When the rank matches the number on your d8, you get to move one of your opponent's pieces that turn. If the piece is a pawn, you may move it in the same direction you would if it was originally your piece. You may not move the King or Queen. After you make that one treacherous move, you set your marker back to rank 1, roll the d8 again in secret, and start the process all over again.

Battlechess is a series of PC chess games involving animated peices dueling, but which still follows normal chess rules.
