#1 dirtyfrank Dec 16, 2009 14:38:47	It can be tough to tell emotions on the interwebs and so we have emoticons but they can only really help out so much. What I've been thinking about is that we could start color coding stuff when we want it to have a certain tone or whatever so that everyone will know how it was intended. I got this idea on another forum that uses blue text for sarcasm. So what I'm thinking is that we OTTers could start using a color coding system, along with the smilies, to help emote our text. Sum ideas Red = Rant/Anger Blue = Sarcasm Orange = Feeling down Pink = Embarrased (blush) What do you guys think about doing something like this? Think it might be cool or help with things and stuff? You have any other ideas on what we could use?

Hilight something, go to that A up at the top when writing a reply, click on it, click a color and then everything is changed in color. I actually think it's easier to use than the BB-code.

#18 pluisjen Dec 16, 2009 17:10:31	Yeah I should've explained properly, sorry I meant that it didn't work perfectly with smileys either and I didn't really expect it to get better by using colors, which denote about the same thing, only making things harder to read.
#19 KillerGM Dec 16, 2009 19:25:27	Personally, I enjoy the ambiguity of single-color text.  Half the time I am taken seriously when I am not, and the other half I am thought to be joking when being serious.  I will not be following any new color guidelines. Or, I will use them incorrectly, just to mix things up.
