I thought it was the stated goal of Wizardos to streamline this new edition and make it easier for all the 12 year old gamers that spend all their hard earned allowance to play the game. They really need to remove the whole "going to the Tavern tavern" thing. This totally slows down gameplay, we should be spending out time slaying the dragon and getting the treasure. I don't need no barkeep telling me where to adventure, I should have the choice to go on any adventure I want. Oh ho hum guess I have to wait for 4.5 edition for that. First Post! |

You should be careful not to over complicate things with house rules. The carloses may become confused over which carlos is which if you name all the dwaves "dwarf". But you're right about not needing the dragons or dungeons. |

Sure ignore the taverns and go head first into the lair of a hungry dragon at 1st level. ![]() You need adventure hooks. |

| #9hellmuteJul 16, 2008 15:29:21 | I was really looking for "Heroic Destinies" so that we could get all that taken care of at character creation. Like what exactly that would remove the need for ANY information gathering and player choice based on the information gathered, without railroading the players down a scripted path? That word "destiny" I find is not something I like. ![]() |
