I am currently considering starting up a a student group on my college campus to play D&D. The problem I am running into is that I am not quite sure how to organize and run it. One option would be just to have a group where people could meet up and start their own groups with us facilitating. I don't really like this option though as it only makes the club an outside party, and not something people would want to come to. The other option would be to have the club run one or two campiagns for people to join. The problem here is that we have no way of controlling how many people join, or if people even show up on a week to week basis. So does anyone have any advice or suggestions? |

When someone felt like running a one-nighter, they would advertise and they'd run that at a meeting while other people were playing a board game. Occasionally someone would decide to form a proper long-term game, and would recruit from the club. Whether they kept meeting during club meetings or not was up to them, really. |

Possible. As it stands, I have a bunch of casual players who may or may not drop in once a week. Good enough, I guess. |
