I haven't gotten to play in over 5 months, and I haven't gotten to run a game in over 3 months, all due to crazy schedules and groups breaking up. This evening, I statted up eight 1st level characters, one of each class in the PHB. I don't have any reason for these characters... I just wanted to explore the options and assemble them for its own sake. I would really like to play one of them, but I know I can't, at least not for a while yet, when my schedule settles back down.

I'm going through withdrawals here, folks. Just thought I'd let you know.

I feel your pain. I haven't played or ran a game in about 3 years. I also have a full assortment of lvl 1 4e chars and am slowly developing a catalogue of dungeons created by the random dungeon generation rules in the 4e DMG.

I typically only get to play once a year: when my uncle runs a game for my little brother and his friends on my little brother's birthday. It's not the greatest having to play with teenage boys three years younger than me, but it's fun for what it's worth.

I'm a frequent user, typically playing 2-4 RPGA games a week. But I haven't played in a couple weeks now, and I'm starting to get the shakes.
Last night I think my dice bag spoke to me.

:P Yeah. I normally melt the mini's on a spoon and shoot em into my veins.

My only suggestion is that, if you're in a drought of playing and can't find a group, make up your own campaign setting. You'll still be a loner, and you still won't be playing, but at least you'll get paid .
