THIS IS THE STORY OF A DAY WHERE THERE WAS ALL THIS BLOOD. A MAN WAS WALKING AROUND AND BLOOD STARTED COMING OUT OF HIM EVERYWHERE. THERE WAS SO MUCH BLOOD THAT IT FILLED UP AN ELEVATOR. HE WENT TO THE STORE AND THERE WAS JUST BLOOD ALL OVER THE PLACE! PEOPLE WERE SLIPPING IN IT AND THEY WERE ALL GROSSED OUT. HE TRIED TO GO SWIMMING AND ALL OF THE SHARKS WENT NUTS AND BITTENED EVERYBODY. HE GOT CHASED BY ALL THE VAMPIRES EVER. ONE TIME THE BLOOD GOT A KID AND A DOG. AT THE END OF THE DAY EVERYONE DECIDED THEY WOULD SEND HIM TO SPACE SO THAT HE WOULD STOP GETTING BLOOD EVERY WHERE. THE SCARIEST PART IS THAT THE MAN WAS YOU!!! (OR HE WAS A LADY IF YOU ARE A LADY) AND YOU FORGOT THAT THIS HAPPENED

I am calling shenanigan's on this. It can't be true because I am not in space and I would know that I forgot about it. You would remember something like that.

There needs to be a sequel, because that was too cool.

A sequel? That's the first part of a trilogy, dude!

There had been rumors amidst the fan boys on some of the movie forums, but I'm glad to hear it confirmed!

Still no word who will be playing me (or the lady if you are a lady). I'm hoping for John Rhys-Davies.

Yeah. I oughta get my DM to send you an email on how to craft a really good story.

In my defense it was a bad romance rp for kicks.

And how can you explain the fact that almost all of your NPC's have no real motives for what they do, and all your characters hide behind their alignment...ect ect ect.
#16

pigknight

May 03, 2009 17:23:13
Satire. :P

Shadowpaw has a halfassed motivation, and all his lackies have their reasons for joining him.

Is everything that you run a satire on something? Are you incapable of running a serious game? I'm starting to agree with TA on this subject. All of your NPC's that I have seen are horrible parodies of something, and have no actual reasons to do what they do, but they just do it. It's like they're all CS. (Chaotic Stupid) If you have to hide behind your alignment, it's CS. No exceptions.

The Edition War is a total satire that never was supposed to be a serious thing so I never worked on the motivations for my villians.

And the Necromancers and Observers is pretty serious.

I find that hard to believe, since in your OP, you stated that it was a satire (which is part of the reason I dropped out. I prefer D&D that isn't like Monty Python)

It's satire-like. Instead of a lich as the BBEG it's a bunny.

I think that you are either overweighting the importance of it being a satire or you have some explaining to do to KGM. :P

And then you had a continuation where the BBNG was a complete franking idiot, didn't you? And he was gonna blow up the world or something? Man......sounds like DBZ.

Nah, I dropped out of hers because I have a short attention span and lost interest.

The BBNG is a being tht observes, and it deemed that there was to much evil in the world so he's going to tattle and tell the higher-ups.

Hey, I call it as I see it. A moron isn't exactly a great final foe. Now, the ruthless, cold, calculating, scheming villain that will stop at nothing to get what he/she wants.....that sounds a whole lot cooler.

Yes I am so thin-skinned, I frequent Astrid's and get offended when sexist phallocentric pigs say the word "female". (total sarcasm).

I just find this thread annoying.

Well, it is true that when someone's on your ignore list, you no longer have to read his/her posts - so if he minds your posts enough to ignore you, they won't exist for him. I've done it for a number of political trolls, and you'd be amazed at how many of them suddenly stop existing when nobody talks back ;) .

I'm offended the main character is ignoring the author! There has to be some sort of irony or... I dunno... something there.

Day of all the Blood

Impaled on a Wooden Cross,
Blood staining the fresh timbers
holding up my sheltering bough.

The wounds pour forth a trickle,
The wet flesh struggling to live
and gasping for a breath.

The Trickle becomes a Pool,
And I can only dream of the virginity
of my first dream-like thoughs.

The pool becomes a stream,
My flesh bound in the cover
of the book of my momentary life.

The stream becomes a river,
and my long rejected lovers
loiter over the pit in which I fall.

The River becomes an Ocean,
And I anger at not having more
time to call my own freedom.

Let us drown in the red tide,
All a while the charred bones
of my forgotton corpse smoulder.
