Is anyone playing this? I finally found a copy yesterday and am looking forward to digging in (hopefully this weekend).

One of my guild/fleet mates is playing this, he's absolutely enamored with it. If I can find his info I can pass it along if you like.

It's actually really good.  You will love character creation as well as the scripted boss fights.

The only problem that I have is that I can only tolerate the superhero genre for short periods of time.

Ive got it on PS3, its alright. I dont think I woulda got it had I known it was a subscription game, but I guess I shoulda known with a name like DC Universe Online. They do give you a free month though so thats cool, but still, 60 bucks for the game then you got to turn around and pay 10 bucks a month or what ever to play it!? I dunno, the Online part just doesnt seem like a big thing to me, most of the missions are solos, theres a few PvP events, and a few Team Up missions, and you can get together and form a justice league with your online buddies or whatever. Its a fun game, but I think they could of just made it a regular game, and then have the Online stuff extra or something.
Another thing that kinda bugs me about it is I dont feel very Super Heroey, im constantly getting my ass kicked, even though I get powers and items to boost my defense, im thinking that bullets should be bouncin off of me and everything, but no, its like boom boom boom and im out.
I am havin fun with it though, I may ended up paying for another month, all in all its a pretty fun game, if youre into comics and super heroes and stuff.

Normally when non-routine downtime goes beyond a few hours the company will comp the playerbase free time.  Will Sony not do something similar?

PSN in free so I have no idea what they could really do.  Not to say there isn't anything, of course.

Anon said they'd leave PSN alone.  Nice that they can be trusted as far as they make it seem they can be trusted.  ;)

As for the game, my pals all play that Champions game.  Seem to like it well enough.

I think Anon left PSN alone, from what I can gather.

It's just Sony pulling a Cryptic and having "great reliable coding".

(Zb's buddies will know exactly what I'm talking about if it's Champions Online they're playing)
