I think it might be more fun to see the Zombie expert and the Vampire expert fight each other, to the undeath of course.

I guess they have run out of real warriors and have to switch to the fictional.  Think of the ridiculous possibilities.

the thing is, that vampires have brains...

and the zombies have no blood to speak of

and it will bore all who watch it back to death

Thats dumb. If zombies are fighting vampires, they have both lost. They stand to gain nothing by fighting one another.

This doesn't sound like a very exciting battle. Zombies are shuffling corpses and vampires are superhumanly powerful killing machines. I don't know from which myth they're taking these guys but I can't imagine any of them where the zombies stand much of a chance.

Way, way more zombies than vampires.  Like, way.  Totally way.  Anyway, there will be many vampire brains devoured on this day.

Well, you can see here that his spinal cord has been removed from his torso, "Thats a killing blow."
A friend and me predicted that they would move on to fictional characters after seeing the first season Ninja vs. Pirate. We figured the only issues would be to get licensing from DC comics/Marvel/etc. , but perhaps they would be doing cross promotion for new upcoming movies/etc. The show is rather stupid as they try to pass it off as scientific, but it comes off humorously enough in spite of that.

I hear a frienly OTT bet coming on.

Who is siding with the vampires, and who is siding with the zombies?

I bet the Vampires will win. I am willing to bet that if they don't I will willingly accept and promote liberal ideals for
the next 3 months

That would be fun to see. But yeah, I'm guessing the vamps will win simply due to their commonly accepted standing in the fantasy hierachy and because they're fake so the entire show is BS anyway.

I won't bet cuz that show is total BS and always wrong.  They just fabricate everything.  Like Pirates?  Yeah, those are real.

I'd have to bet on the zombies. Sure, vampires are smarter, stronger, and faster, but, eventually, the whole world would be zombified. That's when the vampires starve.

See the tough thing about all of this is based upon what era of vampire culture is used because depending on which one is used depends upon if the zombie is going against something of human like strength or something of god like strength. Although this show is dumb so likely they'd be fighting in the daylight and the vampire would die (or weaken) from that thus giving the fight to the zombie. Or give the zombie the chance to grown in number. nomnomnom.

Seriously the show is dumb. Doing a fight with a ninja but the ninja can't use any of their standard strategies (like fight and hide from the shadows (because seriously if a ninja is seen they've done something wrong and are probably going to die because of it)).

I'm fairly certain the show is meant for entertainment, not scientific accuracy. I'll watch the vampires vs zombies, just because it should amuse me for a little while.

No, No, No! You are not allowed to watch because "it is fun." You can only watch it because it is an important scientific study meant to research very important things. It must be evaluated for validity, accuracy, and reliability. Afterwards, there will be several research institutes that wil be funding large scale studies concerning this show and its implications.

If, while watching this show, you even crack a smile, a highl trained hit-squad will be dispatched to your home. They will make it seem as if you nver existed.

Now, we must get ready. Go out and buy a lab coat, a microscope, a beaker, and some beer. It's for science damn you! Just do it!

I would hope so, given how inaccurate they are. Ambush fighters aren't allowed to ambush. The SF vs Spetznatz one gave the Russians their shooting knife blade, and then they gave SF a ****ing E-Tool as their "special weapon". Really? A ****ing folding shovel?

Yes, but keep in mind that they resolve these battles by plugging arbitrary numbers that are supposed to represent advantages into a computer and then running a simulated combat. I'm sure they gave a decent advantage to semi-auto vs pump action. And again, a ****ing shovel.

I like it.  It's definitely gotten better since they replaced their old computer guy, added Mack to the show, and started to consider their "x-factors".  Though I do think a lot of people get hung up too much on who won.  It also comes down to the margin of victory.  Winning by less than 5% could easily mean the same thing as being equally matched.  Especially given the possibility of improperly estimating the x-factors, and other human biases or innacuracies.

Used is fine... except for the beer. Used beer is just not the same.

Vampires have super speed and strength and, based on the source, blood magicks.

Zombies have hording and super strength and, based on the source, must be completely destroyed.

Without splatbooks vamps, with splatbooks Zomblees.

I still just don't understand what the scenario here is supposed to be. Deadlists towards eachother? (Both are already dead) Deadlist towards humans? Seeing which can cause the greatest numbr of deaths over the course of a decade? Throw them in a glass room and see which one stops moving first?

It was zombies attacking vampires (they used 63 zombies per vampire).

Show
In case anyone cares, vampires won....sorta. The show ended with an odd twist, a cliffhanger if you will. At the end of the final battle, you see the last vampire being zombified and the words "To be continued" come on screen.

Since they're up to doing fictional warriors, I'd like to see Wookies vs Klingons.  They are both hunter-warrior races, both known for their tempers and great strength, plus it would draw in both the wars and trek crowds.

True, but I don't think that matters.  Many nerdpires and zomnerds probably raged about the V vs Z episode they did.

I don't see the entertainment industry caring about avoiding nerdrage unless it impacts their viewership.  The Star Wars films are a good example of this.  No one really wanted movies about how anakin became vader.  Most of the fans I have spoken too wanted the story to continue from Return, and they certainly raged when Lucas whipped out whiny Anakin and borderline racist Jar-Jar.

Not particularly, but it's case-by-case.  I thought American History X was a good movie (and having had one of my best friends turn skinhead on me, I had a rather rare perspective on the film).  However, that movie was clearly not for kids.  The Phantom Menace was (with Anakin taking the "everyman" role formerly portrayed by the droids in the original three films).  A film geared toward kids having racism in it is just as likely to reinforce racial bias in the child-audience as it is to reveal the ugliness of racism itself (most notably because the ugliness would get edited out as being to violent or being explicit language while the stereotyping gets left in as comedic fodder).

Why is hating Jar-Jar racist? I hate him for his lameo antics and dialogue, not because of his (fictional) race.

No you've got it all wrong, it's because Mace was the only black guy on the Jedi Council. I mean what's up with all the green and blue Jedi?

I've never seen Tranny 2, so I'd be more inclined to compare it to the crows from Dumbo.
