Sausage Factory Worker Killed in Horrifying Meat Grinder Accident

That is why we have the tagout lockout system at work. Whenever you are working on a machine you are to go through the proceeder to turn it off and make sure that the machine cannot operate on its own. this included bleeding hydraulics, turning off pneumatics, and making sure that no charge is left in the machine. After that you are to lock the the machine in the off position.

Of course for each person there is to be a unique lock, that no other employee is allowed to remove. And if you take over for another, you are to make sure that machine has no energy in it yourself rather than relying on the other person doing it right.

Maybe he used to beat them or molest them or both! Maybe it was his wife who was the victim. Maybe he it the bottle too hard or sold drugs.
We often find peopel guilty of stuff very quickly, but we also petty people or sympathize with them too quicly to.
I say who cares about this sort news. Let's talk about the important stuff. The US defaulting, for example.
Cheers!

He had four.  You'll note that I didn't say I felt sorry for him.  Just sorry for the kids.

Or we could go with the whole innocent until proven guilty thing. Unless there is any reason to suspect otherwise, is it really that hard to give him the benefit of the doubt? Besides, I'm more interested in stories like this than the bullshit media circus that surrounds every "crisis" that erupts in Congress.

Except that bullshit can really affect you. Thus it is important you keep yourself informed.

No, the other bullshit is just hyped up to get people panicked. Much like just about every other major "crisis" that's been going on Congress will do something at the very last minute after each party has exhausted every possibility to make the other side give in. They aren't going to let the US default.

The other crap is just to get ratings and it also distract you from the stuff that can affect you.

The other crap is at least mildly interesting because it's random **** that just happens instead of a circus act drummed up by politicians trying to garner more support for their positions.

Well, Goldie's back as MrNaughty (is anyone really surprised that he's back? or that he would pick that name?).

Anyone else notice that he seems to work extra hard with the baiting right after he regenerates? Maybe that's just his way of announcing himself.

All I gotta do at this point is  post and I get a temp ban. I know let's all just start reporting everyone that we see, that way everyone knows what's its like to get a temp-ban every other day...

Yes report everyone, but only report the most innocent posts, nothing even remotely controversial. Even the ones from ORCs announcing thread locks. They'll get spammed with so many replies they'll either ban us all or give up on the OTT entirely.

Oh and by the way, reported! Tongue out

I guess we'd all have to terrorize the Rec Room if they did that...

Or just terrorize the rest of the forums here. It's not like D&D General could get any worse with our involvement.

Way back when the Mature Board got by with massive violation of the code of conduct because the posters there choose not to report them. Then one of the higher up wondered in and checked it out. The whole board was locked and eventually deleted with only a few threads saved by moving them to other forums.

It's incredibly likely that there was a lockout/tagout program in place where this guy worked, too.  Considering (IIRC) that OSHA made them mandatory, I'd say it's about 100% likely.  Whether those programs are followed or not, however, cannot be guaranteed.  You're only as safe as you make yourself.  If it's found that there was a lockout/tagout program in place and he didn't follow it, his family probably won't get any money for his demise.  If it was there but not followed due to orders from higher ups, however, they may be in for a substantial payday.  But yeah, lockout/tagout is an OSHA thing, I think.

In any event, with his last name he likely deserved it.  (kidding, kidding).
