#1 fenrir7139 Mar 18, 2009 23:33:47	So, I had this really bad-ass idea for a story. Whether or not it goes anywhere has yet to be seen. It's kind of cliche, but whatever. Basically, this group called the Grigori (possibly secret, possibly not, I haven't decided yet) hunt down and destroy supernatural creatures; the idea is that any and all types of evil demons, vampires, spirits, etc., that you can find in mythology exist, and even a few you can't. This also means that certain things work on some creatures, while others don't; a crucifix and/or pentagram might repel a European Vampire, for instance, while a Star of David might be necessary for one from Israel. Anyway, the main character, whom I have yet to name (leaning towards Connor), has his own gun, a custom model based off of the standard-issue pistol given to all Grigori Hunters, which he calls "The Five-Fold Kiss" (a reference to a type of pagan ritual). It does look pretty cool, does it fire any special demon killing bullets, consecrated rounds or something like that?
#10 fenrir7139 Mar 19, 2009 6:58:26	I had originally intendid it to be like a revolver; one, two, three, four, five, reload... But that is a *****IN' IDEA! Mind if I steal it from you? Also, it depends on the creature he's after. They generally use silver bullets; those kill the majority of creatures. Iron ones for "Fairy" creatures, and, for extremely powerful Werewolves, they use hollowpoints packed with Wolfsbane. Their method for taking out ancient vampires is similar, but the hollowpoint is packed with rosemary instead. It gives the bullets a little extra kick; overkill for your ru-of-the-mill baddies, but necessary for, say, Dracula.
