Like many of you, I’ve been playing DnD since I was a kid. I have always been the DM of my group because I love creating, telling, and directing stories. My campaigns are mostly set in the Forgotten Realms. But, I’ve also played in the Ravenloft, Dragonlance, and Dark Sun campaign settings. I never did much Greyhawk, though. I even had a homebrew campaign back in the day. Had a nice AL session last night, too.
Okay. Enough of the, I’m a legit DnDer and I’m not just here for shameless promotions purposes, thing. Anyway, in addition to creating and directing stories in DnD, I also love the movies and TV. So, naturally I combined them and became a screenwriter and filmmaker. I’ve even written a feature length Dungeons and Dragons (Forgotten Realms) script which I hope to make some day. All of my films to this point have been shorts and now I’m aiming to make my first feature. So, I’ve created a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds.
The movie is called Dead Week and is about a grad student working his way through school as a hitman when his boss orders him to kill the professor that is his last shot at graduating. We’re even going after Betty White to play the movie’s villain, a former CIA doctor and assassin who runs an organization of hired killers called The Clinic.
I’d like you guys to check it out. If you pledge, that’s great (pledges can be $1). If not, just help spread the word across the interwebs. In 2019, you may look back on this to say you helped out the director who made the most epic DnD movie ever! Thanks and the link is below:
TL;DR: DnD Geek who is also a filmmaker wants you guys to support the Kickstarter campaign for the movie Dead Week and help get Betty White to play a contract killer boss.

Unfortunately, it seems you posted this in the wrong forums. Yes, these are the D&D forums, and this is where you'd find D&D fans... or at least it should be. Unfortunately it looks like these forums are dead. Not many people are going to see your thread here, sadly. Will you be trying to fund it again?
