Anyone remember that old TV show the Pretender?  Favorite quote:
I'm not a psychopath. I'm a sociopath. There's a difference. See, a psychopath is insane. He can't distinguish between wrong and right. A sociopath knows the difference. He just doesn't have a conscience, you know? So he doesn't care.

Anyway, I'd have to look at their data and technique to see how I'd rate.  I like to think that, as an engineer/scientist1, I'm more cause-effect oriented then most, but I don't know just how pronounced a difference they're talking about, or how strong the correlation is2.

________
1Depending on your classification.  Neither group seems to like my sort.
2That is, while the correlation is significant, it's probably not perfect.  So the question isn't "can you talk like a psychopath without being a psychopath" but "if you talk like a psychopath, how likely is it you are one?"

Those strongly agree - strongly disagree sliding scale tests never really reflect me very well - It's amazing how often I give the "right" answers to appear statistically "average" but those answers are for entirely different reasons than why the test designers assume one would give them.

So you're just good at hiding your craziness?

Oh, yes, quite. (Well, on the forums I generally don't give enough of a damn to keep my human face on all the time, but I'm often amazed by how badly people misread me sometimes - apparently, I do a very, very good "nice guy" impression.) But, in all honesty, it's not that I try to hide my craziness, it's that these multiple choice questions don't delve into the motivations behind the answers at all - they just want to know the answer, not why I feel that way. My "why"s tend to be rather twisted and convoluted. (I have spiders in my brain.)

"Not having a Facebook account could be the first sign that you are a mass murderer."

So how many of you are mass mudrdering basement dwellers?

'If you’re of a certain age and you meet someone who you are about to go to bed with, and that person doesn’t have a Facebook page, you may be getting a false name. It could be some kind of red flag,' he says.

Cuz people can't make up fake Facebook pages?  This guy is an idiot.

I have a FB page that I don't do much of anything with and my house doesn't have a basement.  I guess I'm pretty safe.

But does your wife have a Facebook page? Maybe she's the psycho?

She does.  And she uses it all the time.  My dog doesn't, though.  Maybe she's insane.

I don't use Facebook as that is not the proper channel to communicate with the Collective. We have our own network.

Well, you are planning on murdering and/or making slaves of humans, so I guess they were right.

It's not murder if those slain are vermin.  Perspective is very important, homie.

Very true. Klirshon is just providing a public service.

Indeed, the Collective is a charitable organisation.
