#1 fenrir7139 Feb 18, 2009 19:03:28	How do they feel to the touch? How thin/thick can the dreads be? How long do they take to grow? What i the process involved? I've looked on wikipedia and google, but all I've been able to find is stuff that basically just says "Dreadlocks form naturally by not combing your hair", which is good, except it doesn't answer my other questions. The reason I'm asking this is because one of the main characters in my book is probably going to have them, and I want to know enough about them to describe them properly and what not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
#2 viktor_von_doom Feb 18, 2009 23:55:25	Thier just like regular hair, nothing special and they can be as thick as you want them to be. The process I use is just twisting my hair with Bees Wax (A hair product, not literal bees wax).
