I vote efficient. Its like that picture I remember in some sociology book of an old man walking down steps passing an infant crawling up that represents the circle of life.

It's gross. I mean really do you want to associate your favorite foods with the smell of feces?

I am no Gentleman, but even I wouldn't want to eat in the latrine.
I mean, that's why there is a room, separate from the rooms where you eat and sleep, for ridding the body of waste.
Hell, my dog even knows better than that!

Disgusting. Even animals know you don't where you eat and you don't eat where you .

This being untrue if you've ever raised goats or sheep; however, I am not either of these animals and I see no reason to eat in the latrine.

Penned animals don't have much of a choice where they do either.

He he heee!

Note: I've seen plenty of non-penned animals not only eat where they relieve themselves, but actually drink the ... umm ... really, really fresh urine of their herd mates.  By 'really really fresh' I mean ... uhh ... still in the process of being discharged.  There was this one billy goat what thought he was a cow.  He only stayed with the cows and he did what they did - which was this.  And disgusting.  Also cows are typically fed (in winter) rolled hay bales.  They eat, sleep and poop all quite near this source of food.  Sure they ain't totally free range, but unless you consider about 400 acres for about 20 head 'penned', I wouldn't discount this observation entirely.

Oh, and dogs actually eat their own poop.  Well, some dogs.  So that's pretty much as 'eating where you poop' as you can get.  Some people do it, too.  I've observed the former but, thankfully, never the latter.  Well, at least not in real life.  I saw a show about mentally ill prisoners once that showed some ... disturbing behavior.

At any rate, I do not eat where I stool.  Everyone knows that place is for readin', not eatin'.

ZB don't forget 2 girls and a cup.

But even so, that doesn't make it any less wrong, or anymore sanitary.

As hawt as that was - and boy was it - it's been debunked.  I can't remember if it was Snopes or what, but the last thing I heard about it was that it was all fake.  And that's just sad, man.  Really sad.  But there is hope: as far as I know, 1 Guy 1 Cup (Jar) is real.  So we've always got that.

Efficiency isn't always good. This is just disgusting. I never eat where I (and other people in the house) go to the bathroom. It is both an example of poor hygiene and bad manners. The last thing I want to see when I wake up in the morning is my roomate leaving the bathroom with half eaten ham sandwich in his hand. D-I-S-G-U-S-T-I-N-G

IIRC, it was something like pudding, right?  The guy that paid the girls wanted it to look like what it looks like, but the girls weren't willing to go that far for a quick buck.  IIRC, but then again it's not exactly a favored topic of mine to research.

Back to the OP: Gross.

Under normal circumstances I wouldn't even think about it. But I had this stomach virus once that really messed me up. Let's just say, that I didn't have a choice where I ate because as soon as food hit my stomach I had to .

But that was only once and I'll never do it again. I hear disentary during WW II made some of our soldiers have to do the same.

Yep, that's what I heard.  I didn't exactly research it myself, I just happened to catch the 'news' on a radio program I listen to.

I've done it, but I don't make a habit of it. Usually I only eat on the **** if I'm in a real hurry. It's not a matter of grossness to me, but of the economy of hands. I've only got two, after all.

There's nothing cosmically wrong about it, but, would you really want to do it?  I mean, smell is a good chunk of taste, and well, you know very well what you'd be smelling.

EDIT: Have I ever mentioned how much I like threads that are devoted to unusual questions that don't really pertain to anything?  This isn't sarcasm.  Silliness like this is one of the things I like about the internet.

Truth be told, there's nothing precluding the practice from being both gross and efficient.  I happen to think it is both.  If you can overcome the one, you'll likely benefit from the other.  Unless, of course, you accidentally munch some fecal matter while you're stuffin your mouth full of hoagie.  And that is certainly possible.  And it'll make you pretty damned sick, too.

I can provide a link that shows... um, the real thing.
There is no way it could be faked...

And yes, it is disgusting and not hot...

I eat icecream cones while pissing. If its a choice between setting it down for 30seconds and losing it to the dog, or carrying it with me into the bathroom for a bit, i'll choose the latter.

What about taking a piss while drinking a beer though?

Oh, not that I especially like that..
I was wondering if the general opinion would be different.
In my case, I still kinda find that disgusting, but to a lesser degree.
But when you put it out as water sport, it makes me think again...

Eh, either he just discovered he has a new kink ,or he thinks I'm suggesting drinking-beer-while-pissing should be a new sport.  Either way, I'm amused, so I think my job is done.

You know this is thread is awfully disgusting for something that might still within the limits of the CoC.

Also I vote it is both effiecent and digusting.

Let me weigh in on the "disgusting" vote. Yes, some animals don't have the sense to ignore their own feces, but that doesn't make it less disgusting.

As for 2G1C, my wife and I have an ongoing argument over whether or not that's real or fake poop. Good to know I was right. I hate the word argument these days... maybe an "ongoing rational and civil discussion" is a better term, given how argument is used.

Some animals eat their own feces as a survival mechanism and others have feces that is safe (nutrious even) to eat. Personally I think I'd rather  then ever eat excrement.

It's statments such as these that reinforce my estimation of the value of human life.

I tried to keep my opening post as vague and G rated as possible. I was going to the bathroom and eating a bowl of birthday cake flavored ice cream when the idea for this post popped up in my head. I usually can't smell anything when I go to the bathroom unless I have something wrong with my system or I ate something really strange.

I don't consider it any different than eating at a table. So long as you don't get excrement or urine in your food, it isn't a big deal. Now, public restrooms, on the other hand…

Now that's a brilliant way to troll people. See if you can fit a whole table into, say, the handicap stall, and eat a full meal while on the toilet. Make sure to keep the door open. Bonus points if your pants are down while you do it.
