Well, I'm kinda sore, but I also learned I can do a shoulder stand last night, though I don't think I'm gonna make that a regular part of my workout. Maybe once or twice a week, but not every day.

In other news I'm looking forward to telling some student workers today that they're going to have crappy schedules all summer long if they want the hours they want, and listen to them moan and cry at me for being such a horrible bastard. I'm considering making a set of flashcards that read (when displayed in order) a little loading bar with the text "Attempting to give a damn..." go through a few of those with the progress bar increasing then the last one reads "Error. Damn not given. Abort retry fail?"

Tired. I'm always tired. Over the weekend and the past two days after work I've been working on replacing the front door to my house. Yeah, it took that long (and still isn't done). Thankfully I had me some help. The moron that had the house before us did a completely worthless job of putting in the last one and we had to fix all of his mistakes. I'll just say it involved 2x4s, 2x6s, silicone, screws, nails, drywall, mud, paint, table saws, circular saws, scredrivers, impact screwdrivers, hammers, pry bars, an air compressor, a mini jackhammer and 50 lbs of concrete. And, again, it's still not done. Yesterday after work I immediately mowed the lawn and then got to work on the wall above the door. I left my house at 7:45 am and finished up my work for the day at 8:15 pm. Long day. Luckily, today I just have to do some final sanding and then the fiancee is going to paint the wall. After that, there's only the trim and an extra sill to do - which will (hopefully) be done this weekend. All told, I personally have spent about 18 hrs (counting what I'll do tonight) so far on this thing. In man hours, we're lookin' at about 33 total hours. So far. Still some work to do. And, when we're all done, we get to do the back door. Yay! 'Course it looks like it'll be much, much easier. there's less stuff back there that the moron could have ruined. ;)

So, tired. Thanks for askin'.

Being in the military, I have foresworn owning a home till we settle somewhere permanently. When we moved to AK, we still owned our home in AZ, and it was a pain in the butt to sell from here - too much stress! I refuse to have to do that all by myself again!

Yeah, that's probably a good idea. My fiancee's friends still have a place in NC as far as I know. He's out of the Marines now and they moved up here cuz of jobs (which is amazing cuz "here" is Ohio - between Akron and Cleveland). Hard to sell when ya ain't there. My Marine buddy did what you're doin'. Waited 'till he was out before buyin' a house. Worked well enough for him. :D

They just don't do it for me. Even when Burton C Bell did a song with 'em, it was all meh to me. In Flames? I have only heard parts of stuff and it wasn't remarkable enough for me to remember. I didn't exactly give it a fair chance, though, and may still do so one day.

My husband is a captain in FA. One guy in my group is ex-marine, as the sister of his gf (both of whom play).

But I don't usually play with other members of the service. Most of the guys are deployed now, and let's just say I don't exactly fit in with the other wives and leave it at that. ;)
