How important is your Facebook time to you?

I don't like the way you made the title because up in the tab title it looks like this:

Facebook > $$ > Off-Topic Tavern

Um facebook isn't all that cool. The games are a waste of time and they're more time worthy than the whole social networking aspect of the site IMO, but since it is the easiest way for a group of friends to easily stay in contact throughout a day (and a lot of people my age liking to actually talk to people ) they see it as a necessary part of their life. People like this are total lame sauce. (edited)

If they can? More power to them.

But I bet reality will interfere in many cases.....

As for myself? I don't have time (let alone a need) to surf social sites while on the job. Not even on slow days.

Yes, people said they would be willing to turn down a job because it didn't meet their needs. Generally, though, if you have the luxury of turning down a job offer, it's because either (a) it's just not good enough or (b) you think you'll get an offer from someone else that will be better.

These aren't people refusing to work because they want to play farmville. These are people choosing A over B because B has different values then them.

I mean hell... I choose to work in California because they met a need of mine that the agency in Maryland wasn't going to meet. This is no different then that.
