Next time your kid gives you any lip, you should go all Bing Crosby on him. Then make him walk to school like you did... in the snow (make snow if you have to)... uphill (make a hill if you have to)... both ways.

If you're going to do it, do it right... It's 20 miles, in the snow, uphill both ways, and you got to school before you left the house(ten minutes late and my Dad still used to get there on time... He says. I bought that exactlt once, when I was five, and asked him where he hid the TARDIS.)

LOL - i use the Monty Python 'Luxury' Sketch!

In my day I got up before I went to bed, we lived in a cardboard box in the gutter, and when I got home my father would beat me to within an inch of my life. LUXURY!! Sometimes he'd kill us then dance on our graves!! LUXURY!!!! Walk..WALK....Luxury, we'd be so beaten we'd have to crawl to school! UPHILL? Luxury. Our route to school was a vertical cliff face that we had to ascend with no ropes or crampons  - You get the idea Laughing

Meh. The TARDIS is up there. Y'know. Up in the sky over planet Earth...5 billion years in the future...
