| #1yellowdingoJul 05, 2010 7:43:30 | I'm working on a Project involving the History of unhumans in our History and I've hit a wall at something tht translates as the Gray Gate (or Door), or Glittering Gate (or Door), or Glowing Gate (or Door). Basically Elves, Dwarves, Trolls, Giants, Fairies, Sidhe, Banshee, etc. can all be traced back through their evolution as a Legendary Species from this singular Origin: The Gray Gate/Glittering Gate/ Glowing Gate.
Unfortunatly that is where Internet knowledge ends. Anyone know of Celtic/ Teutonic, indo-european Legends (or other) refering to a Gray Gate, Glittering Gate, or Glowing Gate and what might be Beyond it?
What I have is:
- A Videogame reference that a Gray gate can be opened by a combination of Light and Dark Energy.
- A Glittering Tree (a celtic Legend referring to the Hazel or Hazelnut Tree) which is Wisdom.
- The term the Gray Gate refers to the Open Road (an insane and confusing reference that suggests that these unhumans dwell by the Gray Gate).
- The Term the Gray Gate means Time or Old Age (suggesting an ancient existance)
